Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 1 by Angelicspa I have cosmetic surgery scheduled this Friday with the South Node conjunct my ASC. I hadn’t seen this factor before because I was just so concerned with getting a date where Saturn wasn’t too much of an issue (although I know he still is ugh). Really considering changing my surgery date or cancelling it altogether but not sure if I am overreacting. Any thoughts? Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 2 by Tanit3333 An event chart would help but, IMO, I would not schedule a haircut let alone cosmetic surgery when Venus is in detriment, unless maybe she was well fortified by a strong Jupiter. Mars is the surgeon, Venus is the artist and lords beauty. Mars is also bad off. Friday is at least Venus's day. Is there a particular reason you chose a fire Moon day? With all of this fire it could show inflammation and fever, etc. Is the surgery to decrease something? The SN would be relevant for that. I know some people think Venus transit the 8th is good but I personally think the planet lording the matter should be fortified on a big picture level. Maybe others can weigh in on that though. Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 3 by Angelicspa I basically chose this day because it worked best with my work schedule without looking at the astrology too much. Then I decided to take a deeper look and now I’m panicking a bit. And it’s actually the opposite. It’s a breast augmentation and lift. Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 1:10 am
Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 4 by Tanit3333 I just read another thread where someone agrees with me that SN on the ASC would be relevant for decrease (or removal). To me that is simply the symbology of this influence. Tbh, I would not love to see this influence, but to me the bigger issue is the condition of Venus and Mars and if they are highlighted in the event chart that would be more concerning. Is the Moon VOC also? It is decreasing in light (waning moon) and if you want augmentation then increasing would make a lot more sense (waxing moon). Here's the other short thread: https://www.skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5108 Do you have an event chart for the procedure? When I say I would not even get a haircut with Venus in Aries, I've actually tried these techniques myself. I have Venus in Aries and even I have not had good "beautifying" events with this transit. I find it to be true to form that when Venus is well placed, I'm most happy with the results, all other things being equal (Venus with essential dignity, not afflicted by malefics, Moon not VOC, the event chart isn't bad overall, etc.). Although I disagree with Deb that cosmetic surgery is indeed surgery, even when not to remedy a physical disease, I agree with her that it is first and foremost a thing related to beauty and the ascendant/lord. viewtopic.php?t=5059 Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 2:27 am
Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 5 by Angelicspa Here is the event chart. At this point I’m less concerned with liking the results and more concerned with just making a healthy decision. Interesting to note the Moon in Virgo opp Saturn in Pisces, as that transit was taking place last time I had a major procedure take place (giving birth), just a side note. Moon in the 8H is interesting. Attachments IMG_8162.png Viewed 17475 times 300.96 KiB Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 3:58 am
Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 6 by Tanit3333 The chart aligns with other symbolism that has already been discussed. Moon isn't applying to anything in its current sign (outer planets don't count). Its last aspect was opp Saturn, a malefic that lords the chart. This all pertains to energy you'd want to see to be rid of something or decrease energy of something. In the occult in general, this would be a time to purge, get rid of negative energy or a negative thing in some way. This isn't a chart where you want to see something increase and be abundant in some way, such as one's beauty. Let us also not miss the fact that the Moon itself is with the SN. If you have a lot of fear around the procedure, I think this time is highlighting that. The nodes and Saturn have a lot to do with our own fears. However, whether it is psychological or not, one would still prefer an easier time to deal with a surgery (rather than a time that highlights them and brings them to the surface). Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 7 by Ouranos Natally you have Moon-Jupiter in Virgo in the surgery midpoint Mars/Uranus which is good for a breast augmentation and lift. On the day of your surgery, Mars/Uranus midpoint is at 20 Gem 28 in sesqui-quadrate to the scheduled ASC and semi-square your natal Chiron of healing at 6 Leo 30. It can be read as a deep potential for healing and transformation through actions that may be sudden, unconventional and challenging your own identity by pushing against the status quo and breaking free from societal expectations and asserting your individuality and desires. The surgery should run well. Maybe some minor disagreements with the employees. One thing I would like to mention. You are having this surgery with a Mars R and the cycle started on your Chiron in Leo. Check early (May 3rd) when Mars D is back on your Chiron with the transiting Moon in Leo. Maybe a follow-up. Good luck, Ouranos Blessings! Attachments Breast surgery.png Viewed 17443 times 97.18 KiB Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 8:27 pm

I was so anxious and panicking about this I was just looking for some insight. I will try to remove the post. Thanks. Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 9:31 pm
Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 10 by james_m hey Angelicspa it's not your fault because it is not easy to find and see, and ironically you have moderators replying to you who are not paying attention to it either... so either skyscript wants to see this or it doesn't.. either way, it is being ignored at present.. cheers james Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 9:45 pm

This is something that used to be easily viewable whenever seeing a new thread. Now you have to take the effort to click on each member's profile and check. I already have two jobs so I don't honestly have the time or energy to take extra steps of verifying members. It's partly up to them to read relevant sticky threads. Also, I'm moderator of the horary forum, so I don't take responsibility for this forum, I just try to help with threads that get out of hand and need locked or removed. In this case, I simply chimed in related to the event information, which I believe is something that should be looked at when considering a specific timing of an event, which was what she asked. My response was relative to this scheduled event and not to plastic surgery as a whole ever happening. Quote Thu Feb 13, 2025 10:17 pm
Re: Surgery with South Node conjunct ASC 12 by Tanit3333 Actually, there is no sticky post in this forum to request new members refrain from posting for 30 days. I believe it should still be programmed into the rules that new members agree to when joining. I have no control over that programming, but I would assume Deb still kept that feature.
