will he recover from this : 1 by Zosma photo info viewer A good friend had an operation to remove clots in the body was comatised after operation to help with recovery but as he is slowly weaned off sedation he begins to pull off tubes blood everywhere, such as distressing state ; nurses refuse visitors as it would cause distress. I am concerned that the doctors are just not upto dealing with this situation. L1 ruler venus in the 6th in Aries retro conjunction mercury 12th ruler signifying hospital together with conjunct Neptune. Neptune on scheat Venus is to conjoin Neptune then the Sun .Finally stations on Saturn in Pisces all between the eclipses. The moon is about to enter the 12th on the South node. The Mars OOB partile a weak moon. The doctors ruled by Mars L7 & mercury.Time to let go & say goodbye,or is there a recovery on the cards? Re: will he recover from this : 2 by Tanit3333 Hi Zosma, I am very sorry to hear about your friend and hope he recovers well. A few things immediately stood out to me: the lunar eclipse blood moon (not officially but certainly within relevant orb). Eclipses (or even just full Moons like here) are often seen in crisis situations but it is very eerie that this is a blood disorder and we have a blood moon showing around the time (it officially happens late tonight/early tomorrow, depending on your location). Ascendant is in the via combusta. Moon applies to Mars next but is already within orb of a difficult Saturn opp. Normally we'd want the Moon to separate from a malefic and apply to a benefic to imply recovery. I would not give your friend the ascendant but it is a judgment call. I would give him the 11th house, especially since the Moon is already directing you there. Often it shows up in the house that is the subject matter, the best indicator of "radicality," IMO (sorry, Lilly). It is not about to enter the 12th, but notice that the 11th house lord is in the derived 8th. This may not mean death but I would perhaps be prepared for more issues or possibly surgery. Mercury does apply to sextile Jupiter and is perhaps his physician. The physician is in detriment and cadent though so not very effective. As astrologer, what is your final judgment? I think Venus rx actually likely signifies you and your uncertainty of your friend's condition. I would not feel comfortable giving my official opinion, especially given the astrologer has not given theirs, but thought I'd mention a few things that seemed significant. Again, I hope he improves. Best of luck and he is in my prayers. Quote Thu Mar 13, 2025 11:07 pm
Re: will he recover from this : 3 by Zosma Thanks Tanit for your good wishes & prayers,I also pray for him I know pray has helped turn peoples problems around in the past.Yes Mercury 11th & 12th ruler is in derived 8th from the eleventh & is preparing to station,& both Venus & Mercury stationing on the solar eclipse point in late March.I don't like that moon & Mars are on the 18th degree,I would feel more confident if he pulls through these two eclipses. Good point about the blood moon. Quote Thu Mar 13, 2025 11:51 pm
Re: will he recover from this : 4 by Tanit3333 It's definitely fitting for Mercury to be stationing to rx given the situation. Here is what Bonatti says: The 26th Consideration is, Whether the Significator be in his Second Station, that is towards Direction; for that signifies also hinderance and evil, which already hath been and is past; yet some say that this Second Station is as good as direction: but this is only a way of speaking, as when one hath been sick and begins to grow well, we say he is recovered and sound, which is not simply true, but somewhere near it; for as the First Station is not so bad as Retrogradation, so the Second Station is not so good as direction. The 25th Consideration...if the significator be retrograde, or stationary to retrogradation … it signifies mischief and damage, discord, contradiction, and going backward with damage. Re: will he recover from this : 5 by Zosma Yes thanks for finding that Bonatti quote, And Mercury rx to its fallen sign of Pisces which doesn’t augur well. . Mercury stations direct on 7th April conjunction Saturn in Pisces Venus shields Mercury until the last moment at the station direct then Mercury is touching Saturn this period will be critical I think. Re: will he recover from this : 6 by Zosma Sadly, my friend passed early on Tuesday, after a turn for the worse. That was five days after the chart was erected. Interestingly, the moon in the chart was 5 degrees from the eclipsed moon & 5 days lapsed between the horary & death, I suspected he would pass; many of his acquaintances thought he would pull through. Attending a mass on Sunday, before his passing, I lit a candle for him & a second candle for someone else in difficulties & offered a prayer to Mary. At the end of the mass his candle physically vanished whilst the other kept burning. I realised then the message was, sadly, his time had come. Quote Thu Mar 27, 2025 10:18 pm
Re: will he recover from this : 7 by Tanit3333 Zosma - I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, but thank you for sharing the chart so that others can learn from it. The symbolism seems pretty clear for what to expect with the outcome and it's very interesting how the condition of the Moon in particular describes the matter. Quote Fri Mar 28, 2025 7:59 pm
