Jenn Zahrt gave an excellent talk at the recent World Astrology Summit on Elsbeth Ebertin. I had intended to publish this video on Ebertin's 145th birthday (May 14), but birth month will have to do.
This talk was presented at the In Mundo World Astrology Summit, Aries 2025 (https://skyscript.co.uk/inmundo).
Elsbeth Ebertin's Mundane Astrology. In the early 20th century, Elsbeth Ebertin made a name for herself in mundane astrology, an arena typically dominated by male astrologers. In this talk, Jenn reveals Ebertin's path to practicing mundane astrology; analyzes her published predictions of both Tsar Nicholas II and the rise of Hitler; and discusses how her published astrology shifted as German society morphed from the Wilhelmine Empire into the Weimar Republic and into the Third Reich, which she did not survive.
Jenn Zahrt holds a PhD in the cultural history of astrology in Germany. She's the President of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), a Board Trustee of Kepler College, a company director of Sophia Centre Press, and in 2021, she founded the Celestial Arts Education Library in Washington State.
