Trying to weigh in on some details, please look? 1 by monk27 Hi Everyone ! I have a chart here, and also some things that I see and/or am curious about .plus, someone else sent me a response w/ other insights as well, again which I am curious about. Although this may muddle things a bit, I was wondering if anyone here has any feedback on these two interpretations, and any other points of view....... Question: Does he want to avoid or ignore me? Story thus far: Someone who I once worked in the same company with (different departments), former lover, remained good friends with though. I left company, and have attempted to maintain friendship. Tried to contact a couple of times recently to no avail. My departure was somewhat controversial, due to a dispute, and if the company knew of any alliance , it may cause repercussions. So, I have not heard from him , but I'm not sure if this means he is terribly busy, which may be the cause, or if my concerns are valid. The reason that I think my line of questioning may be suspect is that although I posed the question as shown above, I guess what I'm really trying to know is if things are O.K. in our relationship; I mean no difficult or conflicted feelings on his part. And, I'm guessing that since my question was not so well formed, this would explain the early asc (Pic 5 deg). 1/12/2006 9:22 A.M. Boston, Massachusetts, USA Asc. - Pic 5 Deg So, I am Jupiter , 15 Scorpio in 8th He is Merc, 13 Capricorn in 11th Dignities - none Receptions - Jupiter to Cap - By face and fall - indifferent to loathing ? Merc to Scorpio - nothing Aspects - What we have here is an applying sextile , from Mercury to Jupiter I'm not certain on this part : if Sun is man, Venus is women, then we have Sun 22 Cap , and Venus (Rx) 24 Cap. In this case, They are moving to conjunct, Does venus Rx means, my thoughts keep returning to him, or I'll reunite with him, OR, since this is combustion does it mean that I'm just mentally occupied and maybe confused (He is all I see, or cannot see clearly). Or, is this even valid since this is not a question with any romantic issues.? Moon's final aspect appears to be an opposition to Venus (11th house - friends) this does not look good to me...... Basically the receptions and dignities do not look so good, nor does the lunar aspects, but what I'm really unclear on is the sextile of the significators. Also looking at 4th house ,end of matter. Represented by Mercury (as well as his significator) in Cap, 11th house of friends again..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a response I recieved about the matter: The chart has two messages here--one, that your friend or ex-friend may in fact get in touch with you--this due to Mercury's application to sextile Jupiter Asc, and two, that you probably will not get back on any kind of friendly or familiar terms, this due to the very poor and maybe nonexistant reception between Mercury and Jupiter. Also, a couple of other negative energies indicated by Mercury's being Under The Beams, Moon applying to oppose Mercury, and the presence of Uranus within two degrees of the Ascendant, which is usually an indication of "divorce". Normally, per Frawley, we would restrict considerations of Uranus and the outers to aspects of one degree or less, but the Uranus here feels significant, whether it indicates your fears in the matter, or the facts. Mercury is also moving toward combustion, so its condition is getting worse, not better. Since Mercury rules the quesited, we'd hazard a guess that the guy is burnt up or burnt out, or maybe involved with somebody else, signified by the Sun. The Moon applying to oppose Mercury--it will first sextile the Ascendant, but I don't think this indicates any major positive development, as it will shortly oppose Mercury. The Moon's previous aspect as an opposition to Jupiter and her last in Cancer will be an opposition to Venus. I would say, despite the approaching sextile between Mercury and Jupiter indicating contact of some kind, that this relationship does not currently look promising for the long run. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ There are a couple of things regarding this response that I 'm trying to weigh in on: Merc is in fact under the beams, and near combust - doesn't this usually imply that quesited is not in a good place at the moment, and, as far as near combust, does this sort of thing really count unless it actually IS combust? If not, then could this mean that his situation is going from bad to worse? Also wondering if anything in the chart is apparent that would show what the cause for this is. Since the house this is all taking place in is the quesited's 5th, would this suggest that his troubles are a 5th house matter ( romantic issues, children issues, etc?)Would it also suggest that since it is my 11th that my friend is having problems at the moment? Where it is observed that the Moon is about to oppose Mercury - would this mean that a difficult situation regarding this is going to cause problems for him? The response suggested that Ura on the signifiacator would suggest "divorce", I thought this was only applicable to marriage - related matters. Could this also imply that the significator is in a state of upheaval ( presently, the sig IS in such a state!) Can anyone shed some light on how the solar aspect to Merc could imply "involvement" here, and also how the moon's last aspect to Vnus could be interpreted? Thanks for having a look at this long - winded matter!!!!!! ________ Lamborghini Alar Specifications Last edited by monk27 on Wed Feb 23, 2011 6:37 am, edited 1 time in total. 2 by Deb On Mercury being under sun?s beams ? this seems descriptive of the situation you describe where there could be repercussions attached to your continued involvement at the moment, suggesting he feels the need to be cautious in how he reacts. The main significators are applying to a friendly aspect and that shows a natural inclination, but with no effective reception, and the other negative signs in the chart (including the Moon moving to the opposition of Mercury) the prospects of maintaining the relationship look bleak. Your analysis made no mention of Mars but I see that as quite significant because it opposes your significator and Mercury contacts Mars before it reaches Jupiter (as does the Moon). So perhaps the controversy at work is influencing his actions more than you realise. I would also see Uranus on the ascendant as relevant in describing a state of separation and that you need to give each other a bit more space. I don?t think he is hostile to you, but rather he just feels uncomfortable with the circumstances, and in general I agree with the feedback you have already had. Trying to put pressure on him to resume contact would probably activate the Mars, Moon-opp-Merc, and Uranus on the ascendant more than it would the Mercury-sextile-Jupiter.
