A very expensive piece of equipment has disappeared from my workplace whilst under my care. It is an electronic test box used to test hearing aids; it's worth about ?3000. It was supposed to have been picked up by a courier to send back to the manufacturers for repair; after a couple of failed attempts by the courier to pick up, I left the box in the foyer for them to collect. Two days later, the box disappeared, and the courier swears they didn't pick it up. It was a rather large box so difficult to 'sneak out' with, and my workplace (which is a school) isn't the type of place where large parcels normally get nicked.

I asked the question very early in the morning originally (after waking from a troubled sleep) but didn't note the time. I waited a couple days and asked again, with the time noted. I'm unsure as to whether the chart would still be considered valid, but as it's my head at risk here I thought I'd try.

ANY advice on the whereabouts will be helpful; I took the 2nd from the 6th as the testbox, ruled by Saturn opposed by Neptune on the cusp of turned house 2. I would take this to mean it was stolen or at least deliberately hidden, as Saturn occupies the radix 12th (Lilly says Saturn in the 12th is a lover of mischief). The moon in the radical 3rd applies by sextile; is this an indication of some communication regarding it?

If I take the turned 4th of 'stolen' items, we see ruler Mars conjuncting the Ascendant. 'stolen from under my nose?'. Moon applies by sextile to Mars but Impedited by Saturn.

Oh, help! Has it gone for good?

It is only a guess, but I think some of your colleague might have just take it, someone of the nature of jupiter, but corrupted, "a lord", a scientist, etc.

If the iten is not lost for good, maybe it is closer than you think... There is the possibility of being inside anything ? Are there any places gold, orange or red ? It seens to me that is a human place, where people circulate, maybe in the lower part, near dark places (a trash can ?)

I took the 2nd from the 6th because it's a piece of 'work equipment', e.g. it belongs to my work department, rather than to a specific person.

I can certainly think of a 'Jupiter' person, who is the very fat caretaker, but he's claimed not to have seen it (and would really have no reason to take it, since it was clearly marked to be picked up by the courier). I was thinking about the Leo colours, too; I work in a school so I'll have to see if there are any gold, yellow or orange places around (sure to be, in a school!).

What would the moon then mean, applying by sextile from the 3rd? Moon is in Libra, which is the dignity of Saturn. Haven't yet checked for face and terms.

Oh, I do hope I can find it! It would be a true miracle (especially in the eyes of my boss, who isn't well pleased with me right now!! )

And further, I wonder if children aren't involved in either the concealment or the finding of the box; the Moon in turned 10th of public places applies by trine to Venus, ruler of the turned 5th ('the school's children'?); maybe two of them as it is in Gemini, and Luna collects Saturn as it does...

I've just been studying, and have posted separately, a chart for a similar time a day later ( only moon is different) and that made me focus on the mercury in yours.

You have used 2nd from 6th. I buy your logic for not using basic 2nd house but I don't buy second from 6th. I think we are back to the old 12th/6th question here. Your workplace has not lost anything ( indeed if the walls could talk they would be able to tell you who took the package!), but your position/role/employing organization has. Ie it is the 10th house that has suffered the loss. So I would be inclined to take 2nd from 10th as ruler of package, which is then mercury.

The packege ruler is still in 12th- missing and about to retrograde and change signs ( leave the building maybe?). I don't think the caretaker took it - jupiter in 4th has not made an aspect to mercury, nor has mars. But the moon in 3rd did. I think you are either right about children taking it or the courier people really have it and have mislaid it or something and are denying it. I think eventually it will turn up as mercury will now retrograde back to cancer and to your ruler. But you might not be able to speed up the process very much - you may just have to wait for it to turn up/someone to come clean about their mistake.

It seens to me that 2nd from the 10th is more acurate as your employee?s posessions (mercury in leo in 10th) Moon is translating light from mercury to leo (you) but before she can complete this, will be interposed by saturn ? It seens that you will not find this equipment, as it is in the 12th of secrets and cadent, away from you.

What would be the natural significator of this equipment ?

I think I'll agree with the 2nd from the 10th as the 'correct' significator, as it is appropriately ruled by Mercury (it is a box for 'communications', and electronic, after all). I wonder if Mercury being placed in the turned 3rd might mean something then; the 3rd being short journeys, perhaps the box -was- picked up and taken somewhere nearby. As it is going retrograde, perhaps it *will* turn up again via a 'Moon' person as light is translated from Mercury to me (Sun). However, the moon applies by square to me so perhaps not... Being that the moon is in the turned 6th, perhaps a coworker finds it? Hmmm...

If work equipment it would be second from 10, not 6, Granny.

and I would look in the area it is normally kept first, It may not even be in its box. Mercury is retrograge, so may be coming back to you. You are sun, and mercury is item and nothing is between you, ergo, I suspect you will find it. it is in its third house of communications, and your 12th of secret enemies or large institutions, hospitals, etc.
