North Node in electional chart 1 by SusieN Dear all I thought I was immensely clever to place the Norh Node on the Asc of a wedding election chart, when it struck me that this will place the South Node on the Desc Is this a case of losing on the swings what you've just won the round-about (or any other piece of playground equipment) Any comments? 2 by skippy Hi What do you gain with the North node on the Ascendent anyway? Not only will be wasted via the south node but the North node will be disposited by the ruling placement. Quote Tue Aug 15, 2006 3:00 pm
3 by SusieN Hi Skippi Well, as far as I understand, the N Node is a benefic, especially in the Asc. South Node of course isn't. But you can't have the one without the other - hence my question. Susie Quote Wed Aug 16, 2006 2:38 pm
4 by kerenhappuch Hi all, The Nodes come as a pair - wherever one is, you get the other opposing! In my experience the Nodes operate as "points of Fate" (as they have to do with eclipses etc.). Where prominent on a cusp or a planet etc they indicate some karmic goings on, where Fate seems to control the outcome or development of the issue, way beyond human control. In relation to a marriage election I'd hesitate to pick a chart with the Nodes prominent as you just don't know what "Fate" may do as a result. How about the natal charts of the two people concerned? Where are their Nodes? This may be an important factor in deciding if the Nodes will be a useful influence to incorporate in the election. Quote Wed Aug 16, 2006 4:42 pm
