Lots of good stuff in both. The one with David is a lot longer & more detailed, the one with Paul is a relatively short one aimed mainly at introducing his new book on progressed synastry.

I did like Westrans?s answer when you asked him how astrology squared up to the thoughts of his colleagues when he worked as a crime analyst:

I heard two police officers (both male) talking. They realised that they were born days apart. One said to the other ?You'll be Cancer too, then? and the other one said ?No, I'm just inside Leo?. Enough said.

That somehow leaves me content with the state of the world.

I've read the interview with David - a fascinating take on a significant personality of our times. My research wholly confirms when he says:

My view is that the astrological techniques employed by astrologers are grossly simplistic compared to the complexity of the subject being studied... I suspect that a thousand years from now astrologers will look back at us as rather quaint and simple people who had a very na?ve idea of what is required to advance astrology to a new level.

I truly think we are at the threshold of a revolution for astrology, but we won't have to wait a thousand years to see major changes. In my view, analyses a few decades from now will be a whole lot more revealing and accurate than what we are able to do today. Which doesn't invalidate traditional or modern astrology, just adds enormous complexity to them.
