applying aspect to intercepted sign/planet?

hi, I'm very new to horary still and am having trouble figuring out what an aspect means. If you can bear yet another relationship horary :-cry I was asking about an ex-boyfriend of mine to whom I haven't spoken in some time, but would like to re-establish contact with him or 'redevelop' the relationship, even if as just friends. I asked the chart here:

16 October 2006 in London at 14:24 hrs and got Saturn hour, Capricorn rising, so the chart is okay to read. (?)

I am Saturn in the 7th house (relationship question!); my ex is the Moon and is applying very closely to me by one degree. Something might happen!

The last aspect the moon made (by two minutes separating) is to Jupiter in the 10th house, ruler of the 11th. (Does this mean he doesn't want to be friends), and he also has just squared the 5th (lovers) ruler Mercury in the 9th. Bad news?

NOW, the question is; the next aspect the moon and I together will make is to sextile the Sun in LIbra in the 9th house (Regiomontanus). But Leo in this chart is intercepted in the 7th house, so what does this signify? The aspect after that is to Mars which rules the 3rd and 10th. Some kind of communication is possible? But the Sun is only two degrees away from a perfected aspect with our two significators, and this has me really confused. We are both peregrine in Leo, and Leo ruler the sun is in fall in Libra, and Leo as a sign doesn't 'mean' anything in this chart, I think. More bad news?

Basically I'm thinking that it's a 'yes, sort of' answer, but if he doesn't want to be friends or lovers again (with the squares), but we both aspect the Sun by sextile, what is the interpretation of this?

I'm sure you've answered these kinds of questions a thousand times; I've searched through the archives but didn't find anything that I could make sense of. I'm still new at this!

Thank you, thank you, and cheers!

I may be wrong, but I think somewhere on this site is something about Lilly not considering interception a problem; he just considered it to be another part of whatever house it belonged, and therefore the significator could also be 'counted'. In this case the Moon applies to the Sun which is a 'part' ruler of the 7th.

Then again, I may be wrong... I'll go have another look.

hi archergirl, thanks for replying. I've done some searching of different websites including this one for an explanation of interception, and I think I'm a little clearer on what it means. From what I understand the application of my and my ex-BF's significators to the Sun does count, since the Sun is a 'co-ruler' of both BF and the 7th house of relationships. But what does it mean if he is applying to 'himself'? and what does it mean if our conjunction is squaring both the rulers of the 5th of pleasure and the 11th of friendship, but applying to the Sun and then Mars? This is what I don't get. Since I am asking about renewing the relationship, _on whatever terms_, what does it mean by 'not love or friendship but Sun=7th house or (maybe) contact?'. I'm absolutely confused here...
:-?
Thanks!
