I have a new supervisor and something is giving me a major "don't trust this one!" vibe. Part of it is gut, part of it is a major move to "hide my light under a basket". I don't like it. I don't know, though, if it's a deliberate sabotage, or just coincidence. She's been "nice" but again, I don't trust her. So I asked "can I trust her?"

To read this, should I look at the twelfth or the seventh?

What I get so far is that I am the moon, and in the first house, I'm very guarded about my own interests right now. The ruler of my eleventh house of hopes and wishes appears in my tenth, showing that I am really wishing for more prestige in my career and afraid that I may be derailed, but the moon making an applying trine suggests that it will turn out ok for me.

Mars, the signifier of my career is opposite the moon, but in a separating opposition with a close orb. So some problem (this is not the job I want. I want to promote and do more challenging work) but it's in the past and I'm moving away from the problems.

However, what about this other person? What should I look at for her?

If she's your supervisor, look to the 10th for her, I would think.

Ok, the significator for the tenth is mars, in aquarius in the seventh house and opposite my significator with a separating orb of 1 degree.

Hmmm. That doesn't look good.

Supervisor's significator in opposition with mine in the house of open enemies. Could get ugly.

But then venus is also in my tenth house and trining my significator...does this suggest she's a friend?

I suppose it could be read either way.

She's not in especially good shape, being in the terms of Saturn. Since the aspect is separating, it may be that the situation will not worsen. Perhaps Venus L11 in your 10th signifies a peaceable outcome, or at least a detente: Venus is in detriment, but in her own term and in Mars face. Mars as your supervisor is in Venus face. Yes, probably a detente, brought about by you, the Moon, in applying trine. Perhaps she feels threatened?
