Will I get the contract?

A friend has just spent a gruelling week completing a tender submission. He feels that his company was approached to tender due to the requirement that an Adelaide company tender must be included in the process, rather than their input being seriously considered.

As this is about entering a contract with another party rather than a job per se, I used the 7th to represent the company who had requested the tender and thus the contract. The querent is represented by the ASC in Aries, and thus Mars and the Moon. As the 7th is ruled by Venus and Venus is positioned in Aries in the 1st, can I assume this to mean that this company favours their submission?
As for aspects, there are no direct aspects between Venus and Mars. Jupiter collects the light of the moon and venus applies by trine to Jupiter, but the perfection is frustrated by Saturn - Venus will aspect Saturn before aspecting Jupiter.- or is the position of Venus in the 1st sufficient enough for a positive outcome to this question?

Should I also be considering anything else in this chart? Such as ?the end of the matter? ? being the 10th (4th from the 7th)? In this case the 10th is ruled by that nasty Saturn, which favours the Sun and Venus also exalts the sun ?
I realise that Mercury, natural ruler of communication is Rx.

I also query whether the moon should be considered VOC? Do I only consider the traditional planets when assessing VOC, or do aspects to the moderns negate this?

I would appreciate any hints or tips on delineating this chart.

cheers

Hi Ann

I think your assignation of significators is very sound. But I don?t understand why you say:

?venus applies by trine to Jupiter, but the perfection is frustrated by Saturn - Venus will aspect Saturn before aspecting Jupiter?

According to my software, Venus perfects with Jupiter before it then goes on to perfect with Saturn.

I think this is a difficult chart because it is hanging in the balance. There is no contact between the main significators, directly or involving the Moon, so that doesn?t look good. On the other hand Venus is in the first but in its sign of detriment ? perhaps the contract is not as promising as it is seen to be? Mars is also well situated by house and applying to a sextile of the ascendant, but then it is not doing much else. Perhaps the lack of future application is down to the fact that there is not much to be done now except to sit back and wait for the results. I would find it hard to predict a definite ?yes? on the basis of this chart, but there seems just enough reason to stay hopeful of something positive.

Sorry, that is probably not much use to you. Perhaps someone else will be able to see a clearer answer in this one?

Best wishes

Deb

as always, thank you for your input.

As for the Venus being frustrated ... maybe I should learn to run the chart forward to see what actually happens, rather than misreading the degrees on the static chart.

Perhaps the chart does say all that it needs to ... that the submission was sound, but the other party wasn't really interested in receiving it anyway - this is the feeling my friend has.

As you say, time will tell

Many thanks once again.
