Speeds, Directions, Maleficised Malefics?

Hi Folks,

A couple of basics.

Could you answer one thing for my tiny Mercury in Detriment Brain?

Planet speeds and directions?

I've ordered them best first.

Direct faster than average.
Direct average
Direct slower then average
Stationary direct
Stationary retro
Retro slower then average
Retro average
Retro faster than average
Gone on holiday to Greece

BUT

When Saturn or Mars are retro do they bring more evil or less evil?

Evil Evil Evil Evil

Is fast Evil worse retro than slow Evil retro?

Does Saturn bring more harm going fast forwards or slow backwards?

Also can't get a feel for when a Malefic is being Maleficised.

That means more Mal or less Mal?

Mars opposing Mars means worse Mars (more Evil) or better (less Evil) ???
Yikkes!

I think youve made it slightly more complicated then it needs to be. All Planets in their retrograde are in their Debility, the strength or weakness of this comes from the rest of the dignities or debilities. A fortified Planet, while Retrograde, is not as bad as a unfortified Planet. For Example;

Saturn in Aquarius, retrograde but receiving dignities from his House AND Exaltation gives him more positive power then Saturn in Leo retrograding with no other dignities who would have very little comfort and therefore give off more malignant rays.

Swift and slow in motion are only a minor Fortitude and Debility therefore it wont be as important as having the Planet in its proper dignities.

The harm comes from the Retrograde itself, if it is swift in motion, it receives a Fortitude for that. However your question is more towards "Is backwards swiftness considered swiftness at all" and for that I dont know.

That COMPLETELY depends on the Dignities of the placement of Mars. The greater dignities, the great good comes out of the Significations of Mars, the less, the more ill.

But I got to thinking.

With a Singleton I think you'd want to consider it's speed and direction and third dimension location very carefully as well.

I've no doubt in that.
