I would pay attention to that Uranus placement (although I do go on about ignoring outer planets...), especially with the South Node opposing it. This partnership may not be so fortuitous or promising for the querent, especially as the Moon is making no aspect to Jupiter.

I was just thinking as well: Mercury is detrimented right now, and applies to square Jupiter. Okay, it's a long time coming, but Jupiter will soon go retrograde and go back to meet it.

I'm wondering if the partnership will develop, with some struggle and effort to get there (the square), but then Jupiter backs out of it (Rx) eventually. With Jupiter so strong and Mercury so weak and in Jupiter's influence, the Jupiter person may decide that it's not worth his while as he's 'getting less' out of it...? Hence the Uranus/Dsc aspect.

In a traditional approach, the Moon would be judged void of course because it is not within orb of an applying aspect to a traditional planet. This indicates a period of limbo or confusion.

Does the ?reliable partner? question pertain to income earning on the querent?s part? If so, consider that querent?s Lord 2 (Venus) is separating from querent?s sig (Mercury) due to Mercury?s slow speed having recently stationed direct. Querent?s money is moving away from him, not towards him. This may describe his current finances.

On another note (oh pun) Jupiter (partner?s sig) is applying to querent?s part of fortune in 2nd house seeming to indicate partner will bring querent good fortune ? alas Jupiter turns RX before it gets there (a tease). At the moment, I do not see financial benefit coming to querent from this partnership, but I will look again later when I have more time. Then again money may be unrelated to the reliability question. I will wait to hear from you.

One thing I do not like is the Moon?s next few aspects. After the limbo state (provided querent even gets through that) the Moon?s next aspect is sextile Des/uranus/NN and then square Mars and Saturn without reception.

I am confused by what you mean here. Mercury in Pisces is in the dignity (home sign) of Jupiter. Even though it is Mercury?s detriment, Jupiter will offer a reception to a planet in its home. There is no aspect between them so the reception is called liberality and does not give the full benefits of an aspect reception.

I was also worried about the South Node being right on the Ascendant, and was unsure if this was just further testimony of the querents poor health.

Perhaps it is the poor health as you say. However, sometimes with SN on Asc the querent gives more to the partner (to the 7th) and this might be querent?s downfall (partner takes from querent).

Another take might be to just look at partner's reliability. Jupiter does trine Saturn (general stability and reliability). Then there is that Uranus square. Might mean a sudden change coming for (or from) the partner person. Jupiter is at the bendings (square nodes). Any planet at the bendings is usually a negative.

Just some thoughts. I will have another look later.
