I got a very weird phonecall from a man trying to hook up with me and he told me he got my # from a friend of mine which is a lie as my friends dont know my updated # and even if they did they will not give it out as I am married. I have a strong suspicion that he knows me. I am concerned and I did erect a horary chart asking who is the man who called me?
Do I take the 12 house to represent him as I have no idea who he is or should it be the 7th house?

Tricky one! I would go for 12th, as he is unknown to you yet affecting you, hence "secret enemies". But maybe have a look at 7th too? Which planet best describes him/the way he acted?

I construct the event chart for the time of call. The caller is placed at the ascendant (the person initiating an action). The relationship of Ascendant, L1 (its placement) the aspects and relationships which it makes with L7 would tell a story. Moon aspects also reveal to an extent.

However, for horary purpose if you are not able to identify him who he really is then its 12th house question.

If you have identifed him he is 7th house.

7th house ruler is JupiterRX and 12 house ruler is Sun. So he being a foreigner maybe I should take the 7th house...
What concerns me is my sig is Mercury and if I take his Sig as Sun then I am combust and both of our sigs are in my 8th house and Moon is in the Via combusta and will soon oppose my sig and him. Is that bad?

I think this issue resolves around whether you know you have an enemy who is definitely attacking you (7th house) or whether you suspect you are the victim of a clandestine attack (12th house). If you are sure that you have an enemy then use the 7th house, regardless of whether or not you know who it is. There is a whole section on how to discover the identity of the attacker in Christian Astrology within the 7th house section on theft ? obviously these are used when the person is unknown.

Because you are not sure of this man?s motives, the 12th house would seem significant, but personally I would attribute the man to the 7th house of the ?other person? and look to see how his significator relates to yours and be wary of any contact either significator makes with the 12th house and its ruler. The fact that your significator is combust the Sun (the 12th ruler), in the 8th house, is enough for you to judge that his interest is suspicious and potentially damaging to you (or certainly of no benefit so don?t entertain him).

I think I will take the 12 house to represent him as I dont think I have an enemy. I will just have to be very careful and watchful of every guy, more so after 5 weeks when Moon will oppose my sig.
I also noticed that Saturn is 2 deg away from the 12 cusp so I am not sure whether I can consider Saturn as his co-sig. I use Koch and I thought the 5 deg rule is just when you use the regiomontanus house system.

Being a Virgo, I tend to worry a lot but I guess I will be fine as I have natal Jupiter in my 12 house and as they say thats like having a guardian angel watching out for you but then again if its my karma to experience something bad then it will happen.
