Although it is a bit late in the UK and this might not be read until tomorrow, Today (May 14) is the birthday of Skyscript founder, hostess, and astrologer extraordinaire Deborah Houlding.

You are an exemplification of an old saying: great things start with a great idea, a flash moment of inspiration when it becomes clear the will and power to act. So this site, this forum has in my opinion its foundation in this idea, which is its spring.

Ah thank you. I was out toasting the passing of another year last night so missed this, but now I feel obliged to extend my birthday celebrations for just one more day, because the spirit of self-indulgence hasn't quite passed me yet
I wondered why I got a few emails this morning wishing me happy birthday !

Since I unfortunately missed Tom's message yesterday evening (the computer here was already off by then for the night), please accept my apologies for the late response to the happy tidings he conveyed!
Many happy solar returns from me equally, and to echo some of the previous comments, it's been truly a joy to watch this site take off and grow over the past few years since its inception, under your thoughtful and caring guidance, into such an impressive repository of sound astrological knowledge as well as such an enjoyable interactive community of astrologers! It is of course just one of your many outstandingly positive contributions over the years to the astrological community and astrological scholarship, which have been truly blessed with your many generous gifts of intelligence, insight, hard-earned knowledge and community facilitation. Long may Skyscript last, and long may you stay in fine health and good spirits.

Many happy solar returns, Deb! I've been recently quite intrested in electional charts of email lists etc. and I've noted how they really work. Most astrologers nowadays don't care to elect the start of their endeavors, but I'm sure you have elected the birth of the Skyscript forum to create this dignified atmosphere here.
