My sister posed the question "Should I put my house up for sale?" as she is considering moving. The question was asked on Friday, June 29 at 9:43 am in St. Louis, Missouri

She has had a tough year financially and emotionally and I posed the question for her, so she is represented by the Sun in
Cancer and her home by Mars in Taurus, which is in detriment. However, Jupiter in Sagittarius helps out here, being in the 4th house. The moon(in Sag) is also in the 4th and I think it represents the emotional issues represented by the house and in her home.

There are no applying aspects between the sun and mars or the sun and any other 4th house planet. However, using the Moon as her co-significator there is an applying trine between the Moon and Mars.

I am mixed on this horary -- I don't like Mars in Taurus representing her home and though Jupiter is in the 4th in its own sign, it is retrograde and weakened.

Any thoughts/help?

Following is the essence of arguments for staying or not staying:-

ONE SHOULD STAY WHERE S/HE IS--

-L4 in 7H and good planet and L1 and L7 be good planets or strong in that place where they are, or in the whole figure, if theybe direct and swift and in good aspect with good planets.

-Moon separate from a fortune.

-Fortune in the ascendant.

ONE SHOULD NOT STAY--

-L7 with good planet and L4 with evil planet.

-L1 separate from square or opposition of L6, L8 or L12. Moon being separate from evil aspect of the infortunes they being L7 or L4 and not friends or significator in the person of the Querent.

-A peregrine, retrograde infortune in ascendant or in 4H.

-L2 weak or ill posited.

-L6 in ascendant or afflicting L1 (the health of the Querent weak, mean servants or did not thrive in his vocation)

-L12 afflicted the L1 or Moon (back biting evil and slanderous neighbours)

-L2 unfortunate or in square or opposition to L1 or POF in 12H, 8H or 6H (the Querent went back in world and his estate consumed)

-L1 afflicted by L10 (his reputation lost, trade decayed)

-L4 unfortunate or 4th house itself ( the current residence is un-lucky and few could thrive there)

-L7 afflicted L1 or L2 (his over bearing neighbours have all the trade and his estate consumed)

-Moon separate from infortune.

The above were rules from William Lilly. Observe Moon strength. Decide on the greater of testimonies. I hope it helps. If does not please tell us.

-The angles are fixed (slow dragging movement of events)--Now the question is basically of moving and Cardinal (Movable) angles were required. But if i borrow from Deborah Houlding via Kirk, 26 deg of Leo is on Ascendant. A *bit* late degree. The Querent is dearly holding on to assumed security of fixity but it is feared that ascendant would ultimately move into mutable sign of twists and turns i.e Virgo. A planet which requires practicality and stocking of granaries (assets--Virgo for crops).

-Moon is in 4th. Her dispositor is Jupiter Rx. She has separated from Jupiter but still in same sign. She has separated from Saturn and would apply to Mars (change of sign) so she is not void of course. In this question if moon separates from infortune. it favours movement. And if moon separates from fortune it favours staying.

-POF would be discussed later on.

-L1 separate from square or opposition of L6, L8 or L12. Moon being separate from evil aspect of the infortunes they being L7 or L4 and not friends or significator in the person of the Querent.--L1 is bit ok. But Moon has separated from Trine of L7--So this particular rule is mixed.

-A peregrine, retrograde infortune in ascendant or in 4H--Yes Saturn is almost in ascendant and he is peregrine. But Jupiter though good but Rx is in 4th house. So this particular rule is bit favouring moving.

-L2 weak or ill posited. --L2 Mercury is Rx.

-L6 in ascendant or afflicting L1 (the health of the Querent weak, mean servants or did not thrive in his vocation) ---L6 Saturn is almost in ascendant.

So, we see that major testimonies are in favour for moving. But since Moon is separates from infortune but with trine and is applying Trine to another infortune i.e Mars. Mars is L4 and L9. It suggests that your sister should take her time out and relax (moon changes sign in order to make an aspect with with Mars) and try to sell her house to foreignor. One thing is that this horary is saying that either way events are not favourable. But moving is much better than staying. Furthermore, Please dont make any deal righ now. Wait for Jupiter to be direct. and Venus to pass out of comming Rx and movement into Libra. It may take few months.
