career question-anyone willing to analyze?

Unfortunately I am horrible when it comes to doing a Horary for myself. I become too emotional and can never really read a chart as it is..usually I try to read it as I WANT IT TO BE, even though I have Lilly's work and try my best to adhere to its principals.

If any would like to draw and read a chart my question is: Will I get the post I interviewed for? The in-house web position?

Question asked in NYC, NY USA at 3:59 PM EDT today 17 August 2007. SO I asked the question about 2 seconds ago.

Any insight appreciated.

Hi moonwise,

With a job horary ideally we want to see L1 strong with L10 in favourable reception to L1, and an applying aspect between them to show the querent getting the job.

Why don't you look for previous threads on job horaries? You may find them useful.

Post the thoughts you have on your horary chart and let's get the ball rolling!

I'll take a stab at your chart although as Keren says it is better if you post your own thoughts on the chart first.

On the plus side, there is hour agreement and the Moon in the 10th closely sextiles the ASC and Pluto in the 1st. (Pluto here suggests that you are in some kind of extreme state in regard to this question.) The moon also translates light from your significator to Venus, L.10. The Moon seems to tell us that you will be offered the job.

Not sure what it might mean, however, that Venus, L.10, is in such an awful state, Combust, Rx, in 8th house and conjunct Saturn! The job itself doesn't exactly look like a prize. Also possible you'll be offered the job but they'll change their mind for some reason (Venus Rx).

Just a few thoughts to get things started. :)

career clarifications

Well the position is not ideal in the sense that it is a "trial" position for about 6 months after that it may or may not become permanent. THey have put the position "on hold" until after the Labour Day holiday here in the states. It also does not pay as much as I hoped.

On the positive side it is for an international company with offices in Germany and the U.K. and the website work is what I enjoy and would like to do on a more permanent basis. So it's both great and not so great, but it may lead to better things in the organization as a whole.

Well I did get a call to come back for a similar position. No longer a trial position but to cover the maternity leave of someone for 3 months.

This is not bad, I can decide if the company has any potential for me, however it does not guarantee a position as the previous trail job did. Since I interviewed I have had a different post in mind but that is on another thread.

So you were correct I did get the call back, but it was not as expected, just as you read for me. If they offer it to me I'll accept while waiting for the paperwork on the post I really do want now.
