I'm hoping I've picked up a bit more from this chart and want to see if I'm heading the right direction: The chart asks are x and I becoming closer friends (meaning platonic). It was cast for 12:54pm in El Cerrito, Contra costa County CA on Aug 30.
It looks pretty good to me as I am mars in Gemini dignified by face and he is Venus in Leo (Perfectly describes him) dignified by term he is retrograding toward mars and will first trine the moon in aries. My two questions are: does that seem right? And second that it takes four days for the square to occur and doesn't that relate to timing? I know squares are not good generally but do the face and term help that out?
I know I need to read more on the site, so I hope I am not being too hasty in asking questions. Thanks.

It looks like a 'yes' to me, although I do wonder if "platonic" is really what you want because your sig is also L.5 and the Moon is in 5th which pertains to romantic rather than platonic relationships. L.7 on the other hand is also L.11 of friends, so that may be more what he has in mind.

The sextile between L.1 and L.7 perfects twice and the moon translates light between these two as well, so there is a coming together, although with L.7 Rx, there may be some delays involved. On the other hand, this can mean things perfecting suddenly. There is hour agreement and L.7 receives L.1 by term, so all in all it is looking good for agreement between you, although not without difficulty because L.7 is square the Asc and Saturn is angular. The Sun is too, so it all comes out into the light one way or the other.

The unit of time looks like months to me rather than days. What do you wish to time?
