Venus sextile Mars - evasion of perfection??? 1 by Tara Hi everyone, How are you all interpreting the current (apparent) applying sextile between Venus and Mars? Given that the sextile will not perfect until both planets leave their current signs, is this an evasion, and hence denial of perfection? What about the fact that Mercury will (in real time) sextile Venus and then trine Mars 10 days later. 2 by granny_skot Well they wont perfect AGAIN until they change signs, but they did perfect, I believe on the 4th. They are having a long standing dance, or a dragged out sextile as far as I can see, I'm hoping it brings good things. Especially as Venus will turn arround and hit my natal moon again here shortly. 3 by Tara Yes, Granny, you're right, Venus and Mars have perfected the sextile twice already but that doesn't bring perfection to questions asked since then, given that the next sextile won't happen until both planets have changed signs. Tara I think its a refranation because it does not complete its aspect while in that sign. But a faster moving planets may perfect your question whatever it is if it (the faster moving planet) aspects the two - right? RC Quote Tue Sep 11, 2007 10:05 pm

Lilly seems to define refranation as a planet turning Rx before it completes an aspect, but refranation or evasion, whatever you call it, I have come to the conclusion that, in the chart I'm working on in any case, Venus Mars as sigs deny perfection, unless, as you say, there is translation or collection of light to save the day. (A promise he, the man (Sun), did not wait to let her keep).
