I'm a beginner learner of horary and am trying to learn online how to do my own charts, yet I feel biased in doing this one and am a bit distraught at the moment.

I discovered today, just about an hour ago, that my two cockatiels I purchased just a week ago (Sol and Cloud) had died in the pool. One was at the deep end and the other in the shallow area. I was in shock and in denial when I found them as I grew quite attached in just a week. They were just awesome and I don't know what had caused them to go in there. I had them perched on top of the cage and they never flew down on the ground, but I suspect that perhaps some other wild bird or bee startled them and made them take flight. I found one of the birds and a giant bee was on it (dying as well). I wonder if one of them got stung, or maybe this bee was already in the pool before they got in. I don't know. I never heard their cries either as they would normally chirp loudly enough for me to hear them if they were in trouble. I feel guilty and feel that I could have been more responsible as I could have done more to prevent these senseless deaths. Could someone please, please help me do a horary chart on this and bring some light onto this unfortunate event?

You need to set up a Horary chart for a time determined by yourself and the appropriate question asked.

I use Regiomontanus Houses system myself.

I can well understand how sad the loss of the birds is for you.

Me/Asc: Pisces (6 degrees) with Uranus in Pisces (1st house and Rx). Ruler is Jupiter, Jupiter in Sag and in 10th House.

These are not all the aspects with the planets, but I picked the ones that were relevant as I tried to follow the online tutorial. I am convinced that this was a very unfortunate day for both of my birds as the Arabic Parts are so ominous of death/danger, also the prevalence of planets in water (in Uranus and Mars), they were met with a tragic and sudden death by water. I'm not sure what Moon in Aries represents (perhaps being in the 2nd), I purchased them on a whim one day. It's like putting a puzzle piece together, yet I don't know how to merge all this information into a reading. I don't get a clear picture of what caused both of them to take flight into the water. It just does not make sense as they usually perch quietly up top their cage (suspended on wires from an awning) and if they get scared they start chirping (maybe I did not hear them this time unfortunately, when it really counted). I just hope they did not suffer too much as Cloud (I believe the one represented by Mercury (since I suspect that one is female...in Libra---female ) struggled a bit more as it was very stiff with its wings still looking like it was in flight compared to Sol (I think represented by the Sun...appropriate and male--in Scorpio) who was curled up and looked a lot more peaceful. I buried them today in my yard together and am wanting to get two more to "make things right", but I'm still debating as I no longer want to keep any pets outside anymore after this tragedy.

I feel for you very much. I?m upset just to hear the story, so I can?t imagine how shocked you must feel. You need to tell us the time zone you are using, otherwise we can?t re-create the chart. I won?t have time to look as I am travelling up north tomorrow morning and and then down south over the weekend; perhaps next week I can take a look. Also, was this pool outside? I ask because it doesn?t make sense that two birds would fly into a pool and drown. Birds don?t do that. It is much more likely that they were attacked and they fell in the pool, I would have thought.

With horary, BTW, it is much better to stick to the major aspects. Also, what house system did you use? Most horary astrologers use Regiomontanus. You don?t have to, but let us know if you used another.

Thank you for clarifying the time zone. I'm using GMT -10 and I used Placidus.

The pool is outside of the home and I suspect maybe another wild bird came along and ate bird seed from under the cage (I had spilled a lot earlier trying to get one of the birds (Cloud) out of the cage and ended up tipping all their food and water onto the floor...since the cage is tucked in the corner facing the pool, maybe the birds felt trapped and took off. Or maybe a stray cat came, or some flying insect. Those are the only options I have that could have sparked them off. Yes, I'm still sad for my loss, but am thinking of replacing them sometime in the near future.

Can you give us a place please as computer program Atlases have their data base set to the co-ords so without knowning the place of the event it is difficult to draw up a chart.

I took a look at this chart and I think it supports the theory that the giant bee was involved in the deaths. The Moon is separating from the square of Mars, with which it has mutual reception by sign. This past aspect relates to what has just happened, and Mars signifies a swift attack, something of the nature of a cut, shot or sting. Jupiter is the natural significator for bees and it is prominent in the midheaven, making a square to Uranus, which is angular in the 1st house and opposed by the 8th house ruler, Venus. This would also describe a sudden sting that could cause death. I think that bees can only release one sting, but my theory is that one bird was stung by the bee and the other got caught up in the commotion and drowned. Birds are very susceptible to shock. If the attack had come from another bird then there would have been feathers everywhere.

Whatever the case, you are right that this chart describes a sudden, unexpected, fatal danger or tragic accident, which shows that there was nothing you could have done about it, short of keeping your birds perpetually caged. The 6th house ruler is in the 8th house, the 8th-ruler is angular and opposing Uranus in the 1st house. Uranus is conjunct the part of peril (Asc+8th-ruler-Saturn); the ascendant is conjunct the part of death (Saturn + 8th-ruler ? Moon), and Mercury (a natural significator for birds) is heavily afflicted in the 8th house.

I can see how the chart describes the shock and horror that affected you so I hope you are starting to put the experience behind you now.
