"Chart Judgement: The Ritual."

After the theory, the judgement of the chart is the next challenge for
any astrologer and the key to accuracy is knowing which technique to
apply and at which point. Using example charts Sue Ward will demonstrate
how to approach chart judgement in an orderly and ritualistic fashion
for the best results. These explanations, whilst specifically for the
judging of horary questions, have a wider application to nativities and
mundane work.

"William Lilly: Man, Magician and Astrologer.

Using documentary evidence and lesser known astrological charts, Sue will explore Lilly's close relationship with Elias Ashmole as a way of deepening our understanding of this complex man and his wide and varying achievements."

Between a rock and a hard place ? besiegement and similar conditions in astrological delineation.

Besiegement is a composite condition affecting a planet in an astrological chart. It occurs when a planet is in hard aspects between two malefics and it is one of the traditional accidental debilities. The interpretation of this and related configurations, as Aid, the opposite condition adds important information, not only in horary practice, where they are more commonly applied, but also in mundane studies, natal delineation as well as in predictive techniques.
This lecture will explore the interpretation of Besiegement, Aid and their integration in chart delineation as well as predictive work.

Finding the Significator of profession and vocational guidance in traditional astrology

Other than in modern astrology, finding the profession of a native is not only and not first of all done by analysing the 10th house, but a series of other factors is included, too. By means of examples, Astrid explains the traditional method of finding the right profession and giving vocational Guidance based on the natal chart.

Four degrees of delineation ? integrating the various applications of astrology into the consultation
For students of Astrology, traditional techniques can seem more theoretical than practical. While most devote themselves preferentially to either horary or natal, few use the full range of astrological applications in a consultation. This lecture will discuss the integration of the several astrological levels ? Natal, Horary, Mundane and Elections ? and present examples of their combined use in consultations.

The planets are the dynamic forces which shape our earthly life. They are the messengers, bringing the energy and potential oft he signs actively down to earth. Their position in the signs shows, how good they are at this und how they relate to each other. This becomes clear through the network of receptions and dispositions. It shows the relations of Power, Love and hostility between the planets. Analysing this network is one oft he most important techniques in classical astrology and can be used on all levels. Examples from natal, horary and medical astrology are shown.

Why doe traditional astrolgers only use the 7 classical planets?
Bernhard shows, that this has nothing to do with denying modern developments, but lays in the traditional system of astrologyitself. Balance and unanimity of this system are based on philosophical fundamentals und first principles. Changing this balacned interaction out of a modern world view destroys these fundamentals, and the remaining result has nothing to do with astrology at all. This will be shown by means of comparing a natal chart delineation according to traditional and modern methods.
