Will proposed new business be lucrative?

1
I have been considering the start-up of a business having to do with floral arrangements for some time now - just lack the confidence to just get down and DO it!! I am in very good job right now, but given the instabilities inherent in corporate America, would like to move into something that I have more "control" over, i.e. my own business. (People get laid off at the drop of a hat in America, it seems...). Naturally, it would be somewhat foolish to leave a great job and plunge myself into a risky venture.
Hence, the question:
"Will my proposed new business be lucrative?"
8:51 AM, Manhattan, NY, March 4, 2008
12 deg 58 min Taurus ascendant.

Since I am asking about a business being lucrative, the logical houses to look at would be the 1st (Venus, myself), the 2nd (Mercury, my money), the 10th (Saturn, the business) and the 11th (Saturn, the 2nd from the 10th, the money from the business).

Negatives:
1) Saturn is in the 5th but retrograde and not in such good shape. It's location in the 5th I think makes sense because the business is artistic in nature.
2) No aspect between the Moon and Saturn or Venus and Saturn
3) Part of fortune in the 12th

Positives:
1) Mercury in the 11th - emplacement - (money from the business) and in mutual reception by dignity (and several other mixed receptions) with Saturn (the business and money from the business)
2) Venus also in the 11th
3) Moon in the 10th - I'm concerned about the business and whether it will be successful
4) Moon, although out of orb at the time, eventually goes on to conjunct Mercury (my money - this is the first aspect that it makes)
5) Venus (myself) in the dignities of Saturn (the business and money from the business).

While there is plenty of good reception going on, and the relevant planets seem to be in good houses, but no specific aspects as such except for the Moon conjuncting Mercury. I'm having trouble putting all of these testimonies together and unable to form a judgement. Would appreciate some help if you can spare the time. Thanks!

Hi Taurus7,
I don`t think the proposed bussiness will be lucrative.
Negative mutual reception bothers me: Venus "likes" Saturn, but Saturn is in your (Venus) fall.
And as you noticed Moon is VOC. CA p.122: All manner of matters go hardly on (except the main significator be very strong).
Keep your job and spare money for the time when Saturn moves to Libra.
:D

Best wishes,

Taurus

Venus in 10th and in 10 house show that YOU desparately want this business.. and you can pull it off
HOWEVER
Saturn is extremly weak in regards to Venus
basically it shoots the Venitian efforts down..
then there is MOon void.. it is a killer / destroyer of any luck in this matter

sorry for the bad news

Cosmic and Horarcek,
Thanks for your feedback. I feel rather disappointed... :( , but better to accept what the horary says instead of pretending that it means something else... :)

Although the moon is out of orb, but wouldn't the upcoming conjunction with Mercury make it not void of course? I know this doesn't really change things, because other testimonies are not that favorable either.

Thanks.

Hi Taurus7,

First the positives ? there are actually quite a few:

- L2 applies to conjunct L1.

- Hour agreement -- usually means querent gets what she wants.

- L1 is in 11th, house of quesited (money from business) ? emplacement

- L2 is in 11th.

- L2 is in mutual reception with L10 (business) and 11 (profit from business)

- Jupiter, natural sig of wealth, trines Ascendant.

- Venus trines 2nd house cusp, as does Mercury, L2.

Now the negatives:

- PF pretty much sucks.

- Four of the primary significators are slow.

- Balsamic moon.

- Moon voc -- its next aspect, however, is conjunction L2 and L1.

The big iffy part is that Saturn has a hand in everything ? dispositing Venus and Mercury and ruling 10 and 11. Saturn?s in a pretty good house but peregrine, retrograde and conjunct South Node. :-sk

I wouldn?t throw the idea away, Taurus7. It seems to me to have plenty of potential. Just don't run out and quit your day job until you've developed it a bit more.

Best of luck. :'

OK, I feel better.... :) This might be the year that I start really planning it out, and I'll take the leap when the time is right.
Thanks for your analysis.
