Writing Fiction?

1
Hello!

I'm still relatively new at horary astrology, so I'm still learning (it's really interesting!)! I'd really appreciate it if you'd help me understand it better.

My question was asked the:
1st of April 2008, 21h39, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

I'm currently in the process of writing a story (it's an epic/adventure story) and I'm very excited about it!

My question is: What will happen if I publish it?

Asc. Scorpio @ 9d04. Ruler of the Asc, Mars (querent) is in the 8th, opposes Jupiter in the 3rd (its energy seems to be working against me - I might be too optimistic), although I guess Jupiter in 3rd is good for writing. Mars also trines Uranus.

POF is in the 2nd but it squares Mercury, which is within 17 deg of the Sun (under the sunbeams). Ruler of the 3rd (writing) is in the tenth, house of career.

Thank you :)

Hi
In my chart mars is in 9th, not 8th.
According to Frawley, a book is 5h house issue.
Jupiter is cadent and in fall, not good, unless this in some way describes the book.
I think an epic book would be more Jupiter in Sagitarius ! :-)
But Venus close to the cusp of the 5th: maybe there is a good romantic vibe in this book.
But mercury in fall (lesser influence than venus) maybe the book will need revision and rewrithe of dialogs.
The moon void, with mercury and mars so afflicted, it seens that chances of getting real money of this book would be difficult.
good luck

You are right, Mars is in the 9th. I don't know why but I think I imagined an 8. I thought it would have something to do with publishing (although initially, I looked at the 3rd house). So I looked up for publishing and it would be a 9th house issue, isn't the 5th house more about creativity?

Fifth, Ninth and Tenth

Hi Kokawaii,

I think you are right. Fifth is for the book itself, and the process of the "birth" of your baby. Ninth is for its publication. Tenth is for the effects of its publication.

Since your question presupposes that your book will be published, you might want to consider looking for an aspect involving the fifth and ninth to see if publication will take place or not. Certainly many books are completed and remain to this day in manuscript form, never having been published. If the answer regarding publication is positive, you could look to the tenth for the aftereffects.

Best wishes!
