Is Moon working as a prohibitor / interference or nothing? 1 by cosmicdolphin Hi Skyscripters I have a question for you all if you dont mind will XYZ pick me over Bonny? may 31 5:37 pm Encino, california this question was asked by my friend .. basically she wants to work for this guy/company but he has Bonny at the momemnt.. she does what she does but she is not very good at it.. it is not her field. so my friend was wandering of the boss will pick her over Bonny once her contract expires. it looks like a yes BUT what bothers me is this moon .. moon reaches mars before sun gets there .. is it interference or osmething totally different.. what you think? thanks CD Quote Mon Jun 23, 2008 5:22 pm
by Kylie Hi CD, Isn't that frustration? Kylie Perseverantia omnia vincit Quote Tue Jun 24, 2008 7:01 pm
by cosmicdolphin Kylie Yeah, that is the technical term .. but moon co-rules the questor if it is frustiration, then what is this moon representing or whom? I found this. Draco wrote this on astrologyweekly "On frustration, CA. pg 112: Frustration is when a swift planet would corporally join with a more ponderous, but before they can come to a conjunction, the more weighty planet is joined to another, and so the conjunction of the first is frustrated, as Mercury in ten degrees of Aries, Mars twelve, Jupiter in thirteen of Aries; here Mercury strives to come to conjunction with Mars, but Mars first gets to conjoin with Jupiter; whereby Mercury is frustrated of the conjunction of Mars: in Questions it signifies as much as our common Proverb, 'Two Dogs quarrel, a third gets the Bone'. More simply put, one planet applies to another, but before the swifter, applying planet has chance to fulfill the promise of union, the slower planet already catches up with another. Frustration is a form of prohibition, but frustration only occurs via the conjoining of planets, and not the aspecting of them. Put another way, if the prohibition is occasioned by a conjunction of a slower planet to another despite a faster planet applying to it within it's orbs, it is frustration, if it is by aspect, it is prohibitive, but not 'frustration' as such." thanks CD Quote Tue Jun 24, 2008 8:31 pm
by Gunhilde Hi CD, I still think that it's not frustration or prohibition, since the Moon is also the querent and doesn't represent her opponent here...or anyone else...does it? But you already know that this is my opinion on the subject... xGH Quote Wed Jun 25, 2008 2:25 am
by cosmicdolphin Yeah Gunhilde I agree with you though .. it should have been a frustiration but you know what i am thinking.. moon rules 9th so i wonder what t is .. the position is in Paris. could it be that she will be going overseas first? if we were going by the book .. it is a frustiration but since it is MOON.. how can it be a frustiration see where i am puzzled? thank ya much T Quote Wed Jun 25, 2008 6:21 am
by Deb Hi CD Forget about the Moon for a minute, because you have a much better example of prohibition in this chart. The Sun (the employer/job) is forming a conjunction with Venus (7th-ruler; the other: Bonny), but before that perfects, the Sun completes its sextile to Mars (ascendant-ruler; your friend). This seems to be the indication that the employer gives the job (or makes some offer) to your friend which might otherwise have gone to the employee that is near to him. The Moon doesn?t prohibit or frustrate the applying sextile between the Sun and Mars because the Sun?s movement to Mars is immediate and nothing, not even the Moon, gets in the way of that. Also the Moon is a much inferior planet to the Sun, so it tends to reinforce or moderate rather than break the influence of the superior planets. Although the Moon is usually referred to as the co-significator of the querent, very often it is more symbolic of the focus of the question, ie the quesited: the job. Here the Moon is exalted but in the 6th house (so it might have some prestige attached to it, but it?s also a lot of hard work and quite subservient too, which makes me wonder if it?s a PA role?) The Moon is moving to the trine of a peregrine Saturn in the 10th house, which again shows a (willing) movement towards something that has responsibility, disappointment and hard work attached to it. And then the Moon squares Mars. I don?t think this position is as good as your friend thinks it is, and I don?t see it suiting her long term. Moon square Mars is also a natural signature for anger and conflict, which might result from her being picked over Bonny. Yes she does seem to get some sort of offer; I?m just not sure it will be to her liking. Regards Deb Quote Wed Jun 25, 2008 11:22 pm
by cosmicdolphin Deb DEAR! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! that is exactly where the hell is hiding.. i was afraid you were going to bring up anger issues... Bonny was just picked not even a year ago. People are pissed that the old person was let go .. now, after contract expires another change? It will be hell! the company had no choice. She wanted more benefits... Bonny is cool gal BUT she does not have a stage presence whatsoever.. she went through entire schooling but it is not enough. It is not her thing. My friend OHH YEAH we are expecting relentless work and work load on her shoulders. Basically, she needs to know everything there is to know about the product line that has been developed and workon for 12-14 years and the company and be able to deal with press and dumb questions.. it is almost like she will be in the center of the stage overnight. I agree it wont be as easy as she expects but seems like she wants to get in roll up sleeves. ohh by the way .. sun is separating from venus not applying.. the conjunction happened a few days prior. This will be interesting! Thank you a million CD Quote Thu Jun 26, 2008 12:04 am
by cosmicdolphin Hi all update the boss has started working on a new project/campaign for 2010. Bonny is fading fast, she is holding on just barely. The company thinks she can handle it.. but my friend thinks that she will either leave or be fired. She says no one is happy about status quo. The project will be under full bloom in 2009 towards end f the year. A lot of people outside are not happy either with Bonny. They want everyone to go back to original formula as it was before. So situation will probably not change until mid 2009. Cheers CD Quote Sat Aug 23, 2008 2:32 pm
