This August eclipse not only crossed Russia , but by being a Leo eclipse it connects with a very pertinent Georgia chart. The chart of when Georgia joined the CIS , which set its current status in terms of its relationship with Russia and connects to the Ossetian conflict etc. this chart is Oct 23 1993 12 AM and has a Leo Ascendant conjunct the Eclipse.

Its noticeable that that chart has a Martial stellium in the 4th House square to Saturn in the 7th . Ie the internal wars within the homeland (4th) shaping in a bad way its relationship with
Russia (Sat retro in 7th, certainly in 1993 Russia was in no fit state to prevent the realignment of politics).

This chart configuration is currently highlighted by the Mars transit quincunx Neptune and opposite Uranus. Neptune is on the radical chart's Saturn. All of this sounds like the surprising and disturbing nature of these events and the hidden politics of oil. The conflict itself happened as this Fixed sign configuration , both radical and transit was triggered by the Lunar transit through Scorpio crossing the CIS chart's 4th house stellium of Mars, Mercury and Pluto.

Going forward I find it curious that Georgia would calculate that it was wise to take on Russia in this way but I guess that the nature of the planets speaks volume to the hidden intrigues in of all of this!

I wonder if the move of the Moon into SAG and Mars's move into Libra (Venus is the dispositor of the CIS chart's Sun which is conjunct Jupiter, and both of those being early in Libra will get transited by Mars with helpful aspects) bodes well for a diplomatic route out soon Certainly in the chart representation Russia looks in a weak situation (there are big negative global ramifications for Russia in this )

hi again of course by that I didn't mean that Russia was militarily'weak' Its pretty obvious that they intend to topple the Georgian government return the country to their sphere of influence and redraw the map - but it just looks from the transits as though there is some sort of method in Georgian madness and things don't quite work out as expected?
