What does this mean? 1 by Eliza SA on AC, UR on DC, SU CONJ NN I am in a confused state of mind about this person, overwhelming feelings of all kinds - so asked about our feelings for each other. I am intrigued with the patterns in the chart. Chart ruler (me) - Merc in 4H in Cap, Retro His significator - Jupiter is in 5H, weak and combust? Moon (co ruler) - in 6H, no aspects Venus is in 7H - exalted in Pisces This is the intriguing part - Saturn - exact on AC Uranus - exact on DC Sun Conj NN - exact in 5H (accidental dignity by house?) I will give a little background - we were great friends, loved each other for what we were, supporting in careers, but had a major fight recently and I have thrown him literally out of my house and for a while pushed him out of my mind too. More background - he said he intended to divorce his wife and marry me, but I was more for being good friends - or a bit more, but not split the family. I am in a confused state of mind as I am planning myself to get married next month to another person whom I recently met online. Been talking to him today and that triggered more mixed feelings. I don't want to be mixed up in all drama, my instinct is to run from my ''special friend'' I am too mixed up for interpretation but I suspect Venus exalted in 7H thinks more highly about herself not bothered about what the other person is thinking? Might suggest my state of mind - I am too hurt with the fight to think if his feelings are hurt. Jupiter in my 5H, means he does love me? No dignities and combust - helpless? What does the AC, DC exact Saturn and Uranus signify and Sun Conj NN? Any suggestions here? - Eliza Edit: I just got a doubt, Merc in 4H means end of matter for me? Especially since there is no other contact with his significator Jupiter in 5H? Quote Wed Jan 28, 2009 9:20 pm
by PFN Ok, here is one case where I shall take into acount the Exalt. Rulers alongside the Rulers a little bit more than usual. First, Venus is him, posited in his own dignitys in your 7th. Besides that, Jupiter is him as well. Saturn is your marriage, intention and action. Also, you are Mercury. You said you could be a bit more, but never destroy family. Mercury just runs away from a conjunction to Mars, the fight you had. Before that, you two were closer and he was blind due to Combustion from the sun, not knowing what awaited him. My opinion: he is feeling jealousy from your possible marriage and is against the idea, probably because he thinks he will lose you (and he is probably right). If my understanding is correct, Mercury's next aspect is the marriage itself, and it is bound to happen shortly. Still, Luna in "his" domains is not happy and about opposing Saturn, that is how you feel about it, your emotions do not lean toward the marriage. Still, Luna is a lower body, and higher bodies generally win, and Saturn has the most accidentall dignity (when she separates from Venus the aspect of Mercury will be perfected, are you thinking of giving up the marriage? Not sure if you will or will not, but my guess is no, you won't). *Now, please, if you value answers, gives us feedback to what happens, as I'm tired of not one feedback in order for me to know if I'm getting things correct or not*. 3 by johannes susato PFN, please, how do you give reasons for Saturn being the marriage? Quote Thu Jan 29, 2009 1:19 am
by Eliza Thanks so much, I will surely give feedback. But you may have to wait a bit, till it clears up. Yes, he is opposing the idea of my marriage and the fight was about it, partly. No, I won't give up my marriage for his sake what ever our feelings for each other are. I am actually a little annoyed with the whole drama. He is happily married and I thought I will have another happy marriage. I thought since Sat is Conj AC I take it as cosignificator, is it my intentions? Merc and Sat MR - in each other's signs and aspecting. But both are retrograde - what does it mean to have both my significators in retro and in MR? BTW, when outer planets are on important places, we do consider them as trying to say something right? Uranus means break ups? - Eliza Quote Thu Jan 29, 2009 10:40 am
by PFN http://www.skyscript.co.uk/alparts.html Susato, look at Al-Biruni's part of marriage and you will see Saturn being used. Also, the Symbolism of Saturn fits well with marriage (the other planets would be the Sun, Venus and the Moon). Saturn is arrangement, binding and restriction, and in it's most positive way it means marriages, contracts and such things. Mars and Venus represents only relationships that do not last, I'd say (with mars in it's most positive output). Actually, I would have problems with Venus being used for marriage, not Saturn, as I see Venus being the representation of a "Maiden" in ancient times (besides the pleasure, delight and concord) and that is not so fit anymore (but maybe never was in a general way) meaning that Saturn still is usefull for depicting marriage, but the other planet can or can not be Venus, depending on the circumstances (and 1st and 7th house ruler should be looked upon for that matter, if fit). Still, I do not defy for Steven B. proved more than once how the respect for tecniches lead us to correct answers. Most of all, there is the mutual reception between Mercury and Saturn, meaning one receives each other. If anyone has patience, looking at this chart's arabic parts could shed a little bit more of light. Eliza, about the retrogradation, I'd say that it means a sudden and fast outcome to the matter. Accordng to Lilly, sometimes when planets are retrograde, it means a sudden settlement to the matter. The harmonious aspect alongside mutual reception leads myself to believe that. Also by both you and Saturn being retrograde, it means you and your fianc? are running away from the others (or the other) or you are rethinking your position, after a period being by this friend's of yours side. Still Saturn R. and Mercury R. is a weakness, and your doubts weaken your capability to decide. If there was no mutual reception and the aspect was a hard one, I'd say you would give up the marriage at some point, or something could interfere in a damaging way, but that's not the case. About Uranus, I have yet to see an outer planet transit bring a big event in my life in order to start using it. Quote Thu Jan 29, 2009 10:49 am
by Eliza Thanks for clarifying. I did not look up other Arabic parts but PoF is in 11H at 22'11 Leo and I just noticed Juno at 0 Aqua conj Jupiter at 5 Aqua. Does that mean his marriage? I am a little concerned about their marriage than mine. I will get married anyway but why break up something going on so fine. Quote Thu Jan 29, 2009 11:33 am
