Hi Everyone,

This note is to let everyone know I have launched a major new project, the Logos & Light lecture series. These downloadable MP3 lectures are based on the university philosophy courses I've taught and my own esoteric and astrological background, and are geared toward astrologers and students of esoterica. The orientation lecture is free for download, and all lectures come with a free PDF guide.

In this series you can learn from the big names in Western thought, as well as many spiritual and esoteric movements. Develop a philosophy of life compatible with astrology, your esoteric interests, and traditional thought. Figures and topics include:

The Presocratic philosophers, Pythagoras and sacred geometry, Plato, Aristotle, the Stoics, Neoplatonism, Christian theology, Egyptian thought and astrotheology, the Chaldean Oracles, Hermetism, Gnosticism, Pseudo-Dionysius, High Medieval philosophy, Jewish Qabalism, Rosicrucianism, Alchemy, John Dee, modern models of progress and evolution, modern astrological writers (Leo, Jones, Rudhyar, and others), the Golden Dawn, and more!

The Logos & Light series will also include special lectures synthesizing material across many schools of thought, including: What are the elements? Freedom, fate, the will, and responsibility; Intelligences, angels, and planets; Magical and astrological worldviews; Philosophies of Light; Cosmologies of the Grimoires; and more.

Seven introductory lectures have already been released, including introductions to traditional astrology and philosophy, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and models of the human condition. Download the free Orientation lecture now at www.bendykes.com/logos-light.htm.

Best,
Ben Dykes
