Australians on the forum might be interested to know that on this Saturday's Science Show (12th June) on Radio National, Duncan Steele (Australian astronomer) will be presenting a show entitled 'A Short History of Venus'. The blurb says he will be talking about such things as Kepler and the first modern calculations of Venus and of course the recent transit. It might be worth a listen. The Science Show is on at 12:10pm on Saturday and repeated at 7:10pm on Monday.

What frequency is radio national on?

The frequency is different around the country. I only know the Brisbane one (which I believe would be the one you want anyway) and that is 792 on the AM band.
