Will I be successful if I start a business now?

Little background: I have had many thoughts about starting my own consulting for the flexibility and excitement it offers but have been postponing because my existing financial commitments.

I have passed through emotionally hard times till recently. Although I still have to clear my financial mess and I failed to secure a job I am currently in a positive frame of mind. I have a couple of leads in hand for consulting projects and I get a feeling this is right time for me to start on it.

A look at the chart:
Angles are in cardinal signs - can expect some outcome out of the question.

Moon is chart ruler - in 7H of business - my mind is on business right now
Moon is in Aquarius - not a great place for Moon but not too bad either since it trines dispositor Sa

For business, we look for 7H, 2H (Money) and 11H (gains).

7H is ruled by Sa - Sa is exalted in Libra in 3H - Moon is in 7H. As for aspects, Moon makes only one aspect and it is a trine to Sa perfecting in another 3 deg - may just suggest my interest in business and I view the leads in hand as good prospects for my business

Sa is also aspected by its dispositor Venus (11L) and Sun (2L) - both are squares - I guess some hardships in Money matters if I start the business

2L Sun is in 6H not in great dignity but Mars is in 2H and Sun (its dispositor) trines Mars. Mars rules 5H and 10H - I wonder what that means?

11L Venus is conj Sun (2L) in 6H and these two sextile their dispositor Jupiter (6L) - does that mean service is favored to business for gains? Only POF is in 11H and I heard some place POF in 11H of wishes and hopes is good for the issue in question.

Overall it doesn't look too promising nor does it look discouraging. I would be grateful for any inputs from members.

Did I miss some thing? Or some thing wrong in the reading I gave here?

I did take a look at this chart earlier, but refrained my judgment cause that Moon aspect to Saturn seemed too good in a vastitude of bad signs from this chart.

But then again, looking at it, neither the Moon nor the exalt ruler, not triplicity ruler aspects Cancer, the AC.

Sincerily speaking, this charts warns against any new venture right now. A malefic about to be retrograde in the 2nd, Mars means wasting, and Jupiter, ruler of the 6th (and Jupiter do have more say on the 6th than not, cause it's his only aspected domicile) is accidentaly malefic in the 8th. Also, Mercury is opposing the AC. The fact that Saturn rules the 7th and 8th does not help as well.

All in all, seems an invest in any enterprise favors other in detriment of yourself (put in plain language, you lose money and waste effort).

I am still a very new horary student, so please take everything I say with a grain of salt, but here are a couple of things I noticed going on in your chart.

For career related questions it is important to examine the strength of the ruler of the 10th house. In your chart it is Mars and it is essentially and accidentally weak, in Leo, in succedent house (2nd house, money difficulties) and stationary. Venus and Sun are separating from him and the opposition to Jupiter is not perfecting, so I don't see any assistance from the benefics either. All these are not promising indications for success. Your ascendant is conjuct the south node and that is another red light I think.

I would take L7 to signify your potential clients: Saturn is very strong in essential dignity and receives you in his rulership and term and you are applying to him by trine, so I think there is good market for the services you are offering and your circumstances are improving (Moon just left the sign of her fall).
Despite these good indications however, I still cannot get over the bad L10 condition and the peregrine L1.

In addition to what has already been said, I would add that Cauda Draconis is on the ASC, which does not favor the querent. As in the "Will my son get into Stanford?" question, this rarely promises a good outcome.

I am just an infant in Horary, so each one of you on this forum can see a lot more than me all the time But its strange my gut feel says this is a little more positive chart than negative. Or it is my natal transits which is making me think positive Jupiter is transiting my 7H and I just came out of other hard transits.

As for this chart,
Sa is in 4H - natural house of Moon plus is exalted in Li
Mo is in 7H - exaltation house of Sa plus is in sign of Sa
A strong trine between these two.

If it makes any difference, the business I had in mind was along with my closest friend as partner - we had this plan from last 3 years. In fact, when I returned from UK he said he is fed up of jobs and planned to settle in his own line of business than work for some one down the line in two - three years. But since he is full time employed and me as a partner is unemployed, I am jumping into it.

So I took 7H as actual business and my partner rather than my clients.

May be I will just enjoy doing the business even if it is a success or failure in long run

Here's what I think of this chart...
Your significator, the Moon, is in aversion to the AC - not good, since every planet that doesn't aspect its domicile is "ill disposed" to signify the matters of the house it rules. Hence, in this regard, you are not able to constructively pursue the matter you're inquiring about. However, this condition of yours is mitigated because the Moon is received by Saturn which reflects its light toward AC - in another words, your potential business partner is the crucial, supportive factor in this situation, the one that is able to show you the way and properly direct you. Saturn is here high in resources(essential dignity of exaltation, triplicity and term) but is accidentally pretty weak, by being in the3rd and out of sect - not much power to act, and that influences you directly for the reasons already explained.
The presence of the south node in the AC generally doesn't bode well neither for you personally,nor for the topic of the question; but the most important factor is the condition of the ruler of the 10th(business). Mars, being peregrine and shortly before his first station, influences negatively everything he is supposed to signify. Stationary planet is like a person that's losing his power/health, and a retrograde planet signifies

"disobedience and contradiction, and turning back and taking back, and diversity of discord.?(Sahl Ibn Bishr)

So, my conclusion would be that this is not the right time to start your business. I hope your real-life experience will soon prove me wrong.

Just a quick comment about the stationary-retro Mars........

I wonder if the field you're thinking of venturing into with this enterprise is going into recession, or is seasonal and not particularly strong at this time of year.

For reasons of confidentiality you might not want to answer, but thought I'd raise the possibility that the chart might be drawing attention to that.

Both are valid points - my partner in fact is the one who has all the expertise and contacts for the business - I am more like his proxy But he values my judgement and capability to handle clients and contribute ideas.

And of course, thanks to the chart - I shall look into our line of business more closely. India is less hit by recession but of course in global economy all of us are linked and sail the same waves of ups and downs.
