If you mean the astro-databank bought by astro.com just ask them!
I think that might be easier said than done. Who do you ask? I have been trying to get some help for a problem I have there and I've had to give up. There doesn't seem to be a way to get in touch with anyone who has the time or inclination to respond.

My problem concerns the fact that someone built a page on me but the info is misleading, or hopelessly out of date, or simply incorrect. It is supposed to be an editable wiki but there is no way for me to edit or correct the info. In the end I got in touch with the owners of astro.com who said that they don't allow edits on astrologers so I would have to send my corrections to them by email. I did that - I slightly reduced the size of my entry but made it more relevant and gave accurate timings for significant life events, like marriage, birth of children, etc (much better for astrological researchers). But despite chasing this up several times via various email contacts I've had no response at all.

There ought to be a way to get some assistance at this level, or to be able to get the misleading page removed - if anyone knows something that I don't, please let me know, or send me a PM.

Hi PD - Yes, Wikipedia allows that, but not Astrodatabank. Its the astrodata bank page that concerns me, because the information there is misleading (or what isn't misleading doesn't seem to me to be very relevant).

For example, it talks about me giving psychic demonstrations at Stansted Hall, for which reason I have recently been described as "a psychic", but the public demonstrations I gave were astrological, being a combination of public talks and private horary consultations. I have never liked to see myself described as anything but 'astrologer'.

I am also described as being the editor of the Traditional Astrologer magazine and the proprietor of Ascella, (not since 1999); yet no mention of Skyscript or my book which was published years ago.

I wanted to correct the inaccuracies, to reduce the old out-of-date details, and to include other times that could be of use to astrological researchers - like date of marriage, childbirth and medical operations. But like I said, trying to get help on this has just entailed a waste of my time and no changes, hence I don't think we can advise Jacob to "just ask them!"

Thanks Richard - I have of course emailed him myself several times (both via his site and directly by response to an email he sent to me) but maybe your reminder will do some good. What surprises me is that the site appears to give the impression of a support team being available: hence my frustration in not being able to establish an effective communication.

Doesn't seem always reliable, and as other wikis, full of plagiarizing and pirating.

Compare with some indications i've posted after my research at the Warburg Institute in 1996-97 : "his Correspondance (ms University of London, Ann Arbor), offers interesting insights on his life and thoughts: for example his disastrous speculations on the stock market ("I only have contempt for the New York stock market; their recent collapse cost me all the earnings I had made this fall, and more money on top of that!", letter from December 28, 1931) and his belief (September 1939) that the Jews wanted WW2."

I have to agree with your view of the 'Wiki' and similar phenomena, Patrice.

One of the downsides of the web is it makes it easier to steal other people's work and easier to get away with it too.
