This is a question about moving overseas for a new job

Question as understood : "Am I going to move overseas for a new job?"
Time and Place when/where understood: 3/aug/2004 8:04 PM EST (+5 GMT), 79w50, 2s10

Background, The querent is Jobless and seeking a job in another country which will require he and his family to move and this will require a) to get the job, b) to move overseas

Chart is radical, Pisces Rising (07 PI 43) MO in the 1st which co-rules the querent and shows his state of mind.
From the Long Journies, SC on the 9th cusp ruled by a weak MA and USB on the 6th : Stuck. As far as "Long Journies" I am stuck.

Work: SG in 10th cusp ruled by JU in the 7th, also in DET and Peregrine: Stuck.

2nd house (Move): 09 AR 44 also ruled by MA on the 6th: Stuck.

But then, a very strong ME on the 7th house cusp (Virgo) (angular planet and strong) that will go RX on the 10th of Aug and DX on 1st of Sept will cojoin JU

Am I looking at a chart that does not fit the question or has somebody an Idea of what I am missing?

TIA

I've always believed there is a special place in chart hell for horaries where the significator for the querent and the significator for the quesited are the same -- like this one.

I took a quick look at it, and I don't think the querent is going to get the job, therefore the long journey point is moot. The job is the 10th cusp, Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter in detriment, but accidentally strong in an angle. It looks good because the querent needs the job, but it isn't such a great job. The salary doesn't look so hot either with Saturn in detriment being lord 11 (boss's money)

The Moon's last aspect was an opposition to Mercury, and I would look at the 4th to determine whether or not the querent is moving. The Moon is leaving Mercury, ruler of his home and going to Venus, ruler of his local environemnt, he may be leavig, but he isn't going very far. Also Mercury is quite strong being in exaltation, rulership and on an angle. This indicates the strength of the home and to me that he is staying locally. Furthermore Saturn is on the antiscion of the 4th cusp providing more of an anchor albeit not one so obvious. Finally, the Moon has separated from the part of vocation, which she rules (24 Cancer 47: MC + Moon - Sun) further indicating the job isn't coming to the querent (or perhaps he is going to a new field, i.e. leaving the old vocation behind).

I also think that Mars, ruler of the 9th house of journeys in the 6th where he can't see the ASC and where he has no contact with the lord of the ASC or MC is just an indication that the journey will not take place.

Rather than give up, perhaps it would be better to see if this chrat indicates a position that would not require relocating to another country. If, for example, this new job represents a change in careers, then perhaps the chart is showing us he will land it but not have to go on a long journey, but a short one (Moon translating light from Lord 4 to lady 3.

Being out of work is no fun. I'd love to hear that I'm all wrong and the querent lands his dream job and the family is thrilled by it.

Thanks Tom:

In situations like this that most of the indications are negative, particularly this JU so weak, you (I) tried to look for some light as to any indication on the contrary particularly with this strong MO on the 1st which has always given me some indication of good outcome

I took a different approach to this chart, which was to parse the question in a different manner: Job->Move->long Journey which to me is of most significance to the querent. but I also got stuck in the first step with JU being so weak and MA in the 6th and USB and SA in a similar condition (ruler of the 2nd from the 10th) I just gave up and had to declare a "NO".
