Rooms 1 by Dolly Hi everyone Could someone please tell me which houses (in the chart) represent which rooms in a house. Also what planet represents electricity. Thanks, Dolly Quote Wed Apr 27, 2011 9:51 am

Rooms 3 by Dolly Hi Thanks for answering this everyone - this is the layout of the chalet in question - if you come in the front entrance there is a bedroom (small) on right and then another one (medium) also on right then another one (main) also on right which is opposite the bathroom on left then kitchen/utility room on left follows and finally sitting room/tv room at the end of the hall which is where you are - could you explain how I would number these - also did you forget about the planet for electricity - Uranus but that's modern planet what is it for traditional - I suppose its difficult as there was none in Lilly's day. Thanks for your comments Dolly Quote Wed Apr 27, 2011 5:16 pm
4 by Tanit Are you trying to troubleshoot an electrical problem? I don't know if horary would be my first route for that... also did you forget about the planet for electricity - Uranus but that's modern planet what is it for traditional - I suppose its difficult as there was none in Lilly's day. There is a discussion on power plants here, which is connected to electricity and would likely be under the same subject matter: http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6110 My guess is Mars using traditional planets. As far as assigning rooms in your home go, it's not so simple as assigning houses in the chart to equate to your own rooms. The signs and planets all color the subject matter in a chart. In missing horaries, the location of any item is not soley based on the houses and it is no different in other charts. I would especially pay attention to the compass direction of the rooms in relation to the significators in the chart, which should match whatever room you're talking about, as well as the significators describing the general environment of the room. Rooms 6 by Dolly Hi everyone and thank you all for answering Yes this is a horary question I wanted to ask "Where is the electrical fault and what is causing it" The chart is dated 22 April 2011 - 18:27:10 time - Buckingham - 52N 1W I have not begun yet because I was trying to work out what is what first Regards Dolly Quote Thu Apr 28, 2011 9:29 am
7 by PallasAthene I guess you would examine the 4th house.. and any planet Afflicting L4? Mars is an interesting hypothesis.. but my first thought for electricity was mercury.. natural conductor...admittedly based on the lower vibration of modern uranus... What do you think? 8 by Tzadde What is the first type of wire used in electricity? Copper, which is ruled by Venus (by nature is moist and lukewarm)... Venus must be compatible with the planet which rules electricity, and I don't think she's compatible with either Mars (dry and hot) or Mercury (dry and cold). I would go with Jupiter (moist and warm), because he rules the lightning, the original form of electricity, also in mythology he carries bolts as symbols of his power. Amor ordinem nescit. 9 by Goca As Moon show flow of events I would look at last separate Moon's aspect, here it was (no surprise) with Ur in 6 hosue, or if you do not use modern planets last aspect was with Su in 7 house! 10 by Dolly Hi everyone Thanks again for taking time with this - Unfortunately the trip (which tells you there is a fault) is no longer going out - my husband has fiddled with the fuses and perhaps it was just something not done up tight enough or not pushed in enough. However I have a feeling its to do with our fridge which is in the kitchen - very old - hopefully the chart will point me in the right direction. In the chart both the ruler of the ascendant - Venus - and Mercury (if you take this for electricity) are both in Aries a hot sign along with the dispositor of both - Mars - so I am wondering about the oil boiler (hot) as well - placed in the utility room. But Uranus (modern ruler of electricity) is also in Aries so I am beginning to think its something or somewhere hot and not cold like the fridge. - What do you think? Would Deb mind confirming the ruler of electricity please so I would at least know which planet to work with. Kind regards Dolly Quote Mon May 02, 2011 4:15 pm
11 by Dolly Hi Everyone I was on the right track about the fault being hot - because of the planet Mars and Mercury being in a hot sign - also Goca I followed your plan for the rooms which did lead to the kitchen and as the 6th house is a North/West position it was exactly over the cooker - Uranus was right as well because it was a sudden spark - like a flash short -a few weeks prior to the trip going out which started the whole thing. The fault was in fact the two elements in the grill compartment that packed up - but it was not straight forward because one still worked but did not trip out when used on its own but at a low rate only - a cooker chap friend of ours said this was not unusual and best to replace both which we did and now we are up and running without any trouble. The last traditional aspect of the moon was to the Sun - hot and dry but also Uranus as a sudden happening so they are both relevant I think. A bit boring I know but just had to let you know the outcome. Dolly Quote Sat May 28, 2011 4:43 pm
