Astrological Talisman Making

Workshop Description
We often marvel at the beauty of a sunrise or the magnificence of a full moon, but it is impossible to fathom the magnitude of the universe that surrounds us. This workshop seeks to facilitate a relationship with the stars, which goes beyond the theoretical. In this practical talisman-making workshop, we?ll be working with the moon?s position in the heavens and seeking to create simple talismans, using an interesting mix of herbs, cryptography and symbolism to invite the sympathetic energies of the stars.
Stephen Glendenning has been a magical practitioner for many years. More recently though he has been studying its application to astrology with a particular focus on the use of Moon phases and the Lunar mansions. Stephen is originally from Plymouth and amongst his other interests is antiquarian book binding. He currently runs a website offering this service www.boundbooks.co.uk. Stephen has a background in the arts and teaching and is presently studying to be a Museum Educator.
Booking details:
Cost: Members ?20 per day
Non members ?30 per day
Special Offer: Anyone paying non-member entrance fee will receive a free SAA membership for 2011-2012. This allows reduced entrance to evening talks and workshops.
