End of the 'News of the World' 1 by Andrew Bevan End of the World ? Well not quite. It is the End of 'The News of the World'. Last issue of this traditional Newspaper will be released on Sunday. The Moon will be in Scorpio, disposed by Mars in Gemini, in the same sign as the Moon's South Node/ the Dragon's tail. The headlines relate to a phone-hacking scandal. Luna in Scorpio is a sign of corruption, particulary with Mars in Gemini of the tabloid press. Murdoch himself will travel to London (Gemini) to supervise the final issue and closing of business. I am sure that other Skyscript members may add detail to this story. The News of the World was founded in 1843. Uranus entered into Aries and there was a Solar eclipse at the Moon's South Node at 5 deg 25' Cancer. Current tranist Pluto opposes this point. July 10. 2011 and Uranus will be stationary at 4AR34 - once again disposed by the mischeivous Mars with the Dragon's tail in Gemini. Mars receives his dispositor, but Mercury comes from a sextile with Saturn that is cast through signs of long ascension (mismanagement, going over the line). 2 by Andrew Bevan There are a lot of 'Endings' in process at the moment, now I come to think about it. What with NASA's Space Shuttle porgram coming to an end on July 8. But it does seem to be a matter of tidying things up and moving ahead towards new solutions and a new sense of order. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Jul 09, 2011 11:48 am

4 by Lunlumo The chart above is the third Septar of GB, based on the 1801 chart. Being a seven years' chart it gives an insight into the time 14-21. However,as I pointed out somewhere, a Septar may be used as a sort of magnifying glass: it gives additional information about the individual houses of the basic chart. E.g. Septar II not only informs us about the time from 7 to 14, it also tells us something about house two matters. The above Septar III casts a light on the British press in particular and the media and ways of communication in general. See MER, ruler of house three, in house ten and its aspects - notably square JU/UR. Present transits: UR conj AC, PL conjunct MER (exact). LL Non coerceri maximo, contineri minimo divinum est. 5 by daz madrigal Further from Bernadette Brady - This Saros Series begins as a tiny solar eclipse around the South Pole area on the 1st July, 2011, and captures in its birth chart a Grand Cross involving the New Moon in Cancer, Uranus in Aries, Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn. The closest midpoints are Pluto on the midpoint of Mars/Jupiter Which is interesting as Rupert Murdoch has Pluto midpoint of Mars/Jupiter in his natal chart. According to Ebertin this midpoint relates to 'tackling big projects, business enterprises, fighting against rules and regulations (esp from superiors). Hmm.. #Jup 11#Can ?- CANCER 11 Monstrosities in glass jars at a side show. Plagued by glitches. Stuck in anomalies. You feel atavistically caught in very strange old places that will not budge for anything. Self-doubt, self-negation, self-sabotage. Excruciatingly self-conscious. The glare of the spotlight falls upon chronic unconscious syndromes. Places where hiding in massive dysfunction seems to be the only security and safety. The unwitting subtle fostering of clusters of negativity and confusion. Perpetuating the problem by doggedly refusing to see it for what it is. The extravagant pretense that all of this is a joke, or something gross and trivial. Yet in the end being stopped by little shadow dwellers just becomes too painful for you to rationalize any further. And the freakish syndromes you tried so hard to pawn off on everything else come back home to be uprooted with deep, sober will. As well as the recent Eclipse hitting this point we shouldnt forget that right now his #Sat transit is exactly #squ natal #Jup as well, setting off and interesting t-square by its aspect to the #Cap Asc. Dont underestimate this guy though, he is at his best when in a seemingly impossible position...his powerful natal saturn ruler is in the ascendant strongly placed on this degree... #Sat (CAPRICORN 22?): BY ACCEPTING DEFEAT GRACEFULLY, A GENERAL REVEALS NOBILITY OF CHARACTER. KEYNOTE: The realization that one may grow through defeat as well as, and perhaps more than, through success. While the preceding symbol referred to the drive toward success in culturally organized collective endeavors, this one presents us with the possibility of turning apparent external defeat into an inner spiritual achievement. We have recently seen how totally vanquished nations (Germany and Japan) have leaped forward and achieved great economic success. Much depends on the quality of the will and the inner integrity of the person. At this second stage we find what seems to be a paradox, but the spiritual life is always paradoxical. The great sinner can become the most renowned saint, and a medieval Pope a criminal. What matters most always is INNER STRENGTH. #Sat = restrictions. closures, paring down, unemployment, downturns, stepping down to fight again another day....Saturn is the most influential culprit here in my view. my views on the wider consequencies of the current farrago can be read here.. http://pinkmelon.proboards.com/index.cgi? 6 by daz madrigal Daz) I notice that #Ven is moving to conjunct natal #Jup on Monday/Tuesday..with the #Jup transit already square natal venus what would be the result..benevolence? some generous gesture?..or perhaps a wasteful loss of finance? Matrika) Yup. Proceeds of last day of publication to go to charities. Another accurate prediction from the pen of daz madrigal. 7 by daz madrigal A quick update re. Murdoch's currently afflicted natal #Jup#Can #Ven conjunct joins #Jup on fixed star Alzirr (Hunting, besieging, the revenge of princes, trouble, disgrace, sickness, loss of fortune). With the share price plummeting, NI's bid for BSkyB is all but over now with all 3 UK political leaders joining forces to scupper the deal (the revenge of Princes?) leaving Murdoch and Co. to face the frenzy of the press (hunting, besiegment) Alzirr's character is that of #Ven#Jup#Mer, despite the benevolent nature of venus/jupiter this star is considered to be very unfortunate. To top it off we also have #Lil (Black Moon) to add further misfortune by way of its close square to #Ven Lilith is always very present in those mundane or event astrological charts related to falsehood, lies, cheating, dirty tricks and so on. thus the result provides us with a toxic t-square sitting right on top of RM's natal #Jup..............and all within 2 degrees orb! 8 by Andrew Bevan Opening of Gates An opening of Gates is a term applied when two planetary opposites are joined in the same sign. The may generally indicate a time of many changes or 'change of weather'. Mars and Venus are both in Gemini at present. Although they do not apply to one another, they are in the same sign and 'contain' the Moon's South Node who is in the middle. Gemini seems to be getting a bit of stick at the moment. The News of the World going under because of hacking and telephone tapping. And the USA struggling with what to do with their financial deficit... I'm not surprised, Tom, such is the dread of this malevolent star that few astrologers dare speak of its name in public! Beware!!
