Hello

I've been studying Anthony Griffin's little horary book, published in 1665, called 'An Astrological Judgement Touching Theft', and as part of that studying process I decided to re-type it, re-calculate the chart example used in the text, get some maps to go with it, dig up the definitions of some of the old words etc., all as part of going more deeply into the example judgement he wrote.

I've pulled all the above together into a pdf file for my own reference purposes, but also decided to make it available to fellow students if anyone wants a copy.

After almost completing the re-typing part of the process I realised that it was already available in re-typed versions, but continued with it because my purpose in re-typing it was to help me study and to bring it together with the extra information to make that study more focused and deeper, and to bring the chart example more to life.

Very curious - I've been working on this same project myself over the last few weeks, doing the same things for exactly the same reasons. But now I've seen this I wish I hadn't bothered. This is excellent - I highly recommend this.

You need to url-encode the ! as %21 in an URL, like this:

Although the sychronisation is properly freaking me out....and I've run out of Rescue Remedy

A story about working on the pdf: Mid-way through the re-typing I'd done a very rare thing and decided to walk the couple of miles home from the shops. Halfway along the route I was made aware.... at first by the smell.... .... of a small sheep/cattle lorry pulled up in the stalled traffic right next to me.... I haven't seen, much less smelt, one of those in many years (I'm told that must mean I go around with my eyes shut).

The next day someone who knew I was working on the pdf but didn't know about the sheep/cattle lorry gave me a newspaper cutting of a report about sheep hustling, and I cast a chart for the moment I came across the cutting (which was several hours after they'd left it out for me to find)..... Aries on the Ascendant, with Mars in Leo on the cusp of the 6th, naturally

I've fixed the link now, and while I'm on the subject I've just picked up an email from Paulo Alexandre Silva of the website Astrologia Medieval, who has generously said he'll host a copy of the pdf in his ebooks section, so thanks to Paulo for that.

It's located alongside the facsimile of the original 1665 text, which Paulo's site already holds a copy of.

I'm not surprised that you were having synchronious experiences. It's obvious that you were very connected with the symbolism of the example chart, so you were attracting it on various levels. Great stuff.
