The news has been out for a couple of days but I have only just realised from Facebook that Jack Fertig passed away on August 5, 2012 at 9:30 PM from liver cancer. So sad to hear this. Jack was a special character and will certainly be sadly missed by the astrological community.

I knew Jack from Sandy Rozhan's intenet forum way back in the 1990's. I loved his interesting and varied posts.

I am sad to see so many astrologers like him and Robert Blaschke leaving us. There are few to replace them, and we head into a dark ages for astrology.
