Hi there. My name is Anita and I am looking for any astrological group, association or just people living in Ireland, who meet on a weekly basis, or wish to meet or just wish to talk over the phone to discuss any astrological problems, issues or just talk about astrology.
I've searched for any astrological association based in Ireland but I coudn't find. The problem is that I live in Ireland and I don't know anyone personally, who would be interested in astrology, and online connection is not enough... I know that there are lots of groups located in London, but it's too far away from me.

There used to be an Irish Association based in Dublin but it effectively dissolved around 2003-4. From what I have heard the cause was some heavy 'committee politics'. Here is more information on the history of Irish astrology from the Dublin based astrologer Bill Sheeran.

Our Association is based in Edinburgh. We actually, have one member based in Northern Ireland who comes over to our events. She is a member here so I will highlight your post to her.

I know its hardly Belfast but here is our current programme:

We do try to run some weekend events with speakers that come up from England or occasionally visiting International speakers. We actually had the Irish astrologer Tessa Gibson over to run a a one day workshop at our Association earlier this year. Not very close to you though as she is based in Cork.

You might also be interested in Aquarius Rising which is an Astrology group based in Glasgow. I can put you in touch with their secretary Carole Bone if you have any questions. Here is their site:

Of course you could try forming your own Association! It would be great to see astrology thriving in Ireland once again.
