In Europe there have been a scandal about the distribution of meat, that have been going on for some months now.

The discovery was made that horsemeat been packed and sold as cow meat, which have since caused some havoc in the meat business locally and in more broader terms.

It striked me that it may be transiting Ketu's present transit through the
martian sign aries which could be about red meat issues ?

Checking closer yesterday into the issue.

The scandal started thus in 15 january of 2013.

Transiting Ketu ingressed into Aries 15 january 2013

Here I use Krishnamurti ayanamsha and True node which is what I am experiementing with currently.(Not mainstream but anyway).

Am I out of bounds here, or may it be a relavant correlation ?

It may be recalled that around 1995-1996 Britian was hit by British beef being banned for BSE/CJD.

So Ketu moving into sidereal Aries does affect in some way the British population with animal origin foods.

That's an interesting observation Pankajdubey. I didn't thought about that.
England is considered an aries nation by all astrological sources I know of.

I haven't gone into this country = sign astrology that much. But one example of doing this intuitively with sucess is the famous vedic astrologer
B.V Raman who is wellknown for making some outstanding predictions in the second World war. He used this aproach intuitively without looking into mundane charts I Believe.

I wonder if transiting Ketu's other transits through the signs hold similar symbolic correlations.
I was aware of the acute bank issues occuring in EU during it's transit through sidereal Taurus.

Or is it that Ketu have specialised in just the EU region for his glance ?
