Why sometimes it does not work

Hi
The last time Mars in Cancer was opposite my sun I had problems with male realtives regarding written stuff.Cancer is my third house in placidus.
This week nothing happened not even close ,and I wasnt even careful.Yet there are these squares from Uranus.I was expecting it to be nasty. How do you explain this?

thanks

the 'it' in this example being a particular transit of one planet to another particular planet, minus all the other possible info, correct?

i think it's a bit like saying, "i put some salt in this recipe and it turned out different then the last time", while not paying attention to all the other ingredients that go into the recipe! now you'd like someone to comment on what made the recipe different this time!!! surely it had little to do with the 'salt', lol...

Still, I am surprised.
The last two times something happened. This Mars is opposing several natal planets

Activeness of Ar?s etc.

Good afternoon,

Assuming that Ms Dragonqueen works with the 'Placidus' house system both for topical analyses and to determine the relative tendency of each planet to be active, and ignoring other items (not usually recommended), transiting Ar?s is in a cadent place thus tending toward inactivity. With his presence in Cancer, sign of his fall, however, he is not only accidentally inactive but essentially weakened in the transit. Thus is should hardly be surprising that he does not always strongly manifest. It might be useful to recall that H?lios is not considered very dignified when posited in Capricornus, in this case presumably also in a cadent (9th) house.

Usually Placidus houses do not exactly match signs. One might consider the other sign (occasionally there are three) involved to interpret the 3rd house. One might also well consider which bright fixed stars the involved planets were configured with, both in the ecliptic and paranatellonta, in the transits as well as antiscia and contra-antiscia of the involved planets. Last but not least one is usually advised to include the essential and accidental situations of the planets in the root chart.

An often cited adage says that correlations are probable when confirmed by at least three astrological indications.

Best regards,

lihin

I dont even know if I should use Uranus. It has been square my mars for many weeks, but i am not particularly tense or nervous,no more than before :D
