New Release on Sumerian origins of astrology

Hi all, I'd like to announce the publication of a new book called 'The Queen of Heaven'.
It's the first of a two-part series that hopes to provide the background to Macrobius' ideas about stellar souls, the solstice gateways and the descent through the planetary spheres.
The first book, the Queen of Heaven, explores the symbolism of the heavens in ancient Near Eastern art, so it's not really about astrology and doesn't even mention Macrobius. What it does concentrate on is the symbolism of the child and its relationship to the heavens. It focuses on the idea that the heavens are feminine in nature and act as mother of the child just as much as its human parents.
I have presented it as an independent book about the Near Eastern goddess in ancient art, but it is really a foundation for book two.
Book two, which I hope to publish in the spring, should be of more interest to astrologers as it explores the same ideas through the symbolism of the constellations, especially the great cross of the fixed constellations - Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus.
After a little chat with Deb, we thought it best to leave a Skyscript review until both books are available in the springtime.
Cheers, Gavin White at Solaria Publications
