What is the general consensus on this book? I briefly read through the entire thing (the book was a lot smaller than I had expected) and thought that some of the information seemed pretty solid, while other stuff that he said seemed kind of out there...

Not sure if that's a known variant spelling, but I think you mean Abu Ali Al Khayyat - known by the Latin title Albohali ?

Do you have any more info to add - like who translated, who published, what interests you and what is "kinda out there"? This is seeming like a lot of work for little excitement ...
