Hello.

The online atlas included in Morinus was no longer active.
The new traditional version (6.03) has this problem fixed, and is available at the following link:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/tradmorinus/

For people who use the modern version, the last one (8.05) is downloadable from the other link:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/morinus/

Here check down in the page, on the right.

Odd. My version of Tradmorinus is 6.2. Is it really 6.03 or is it 6.3?

Sorry. The code I wrote for the new, traditional version is due to the way of labeling the modern one, with two decimal numbers.

I found a bug using rising and setting of the planets: those of the Sun (which has no latitude) do not match those of other softwares. Unless there is another definition of rising/setting. I have not checked other planets. I use the fonction to calculate Antonio-Francesco Bonatti's progressions (same natal planetary hour for each year)...

This is an old issue. Since several years ago.

No, it is not a bug. It was a choice. Perhaps not the best, but a choice anyway. As you say, the criterion to reckon the related moments is not univocal (if you search in internet it's very easy to find explanations on the topic). Note that according to the method, the difference can rise up to many minutes.

This is one area of the program where I did not contributed, but I remember one discussion with Robert Nagy (even if not the details), followed by the decision to keep the existing solution. See the following link on the Morinus' site:

Of course it's quite easy to understand again the current method and change it, if really necessary.
