400 most influential and important dead western astrologers?

A couple of months ago, in response to a blog post by my friend Chris Brennan, and partially in consultation with other astrologer friends, I brainstormed and gradually compiled a list of the most important deceased western astrologers from my own perspective, based on their demonstrated influence and the importance of their surviving works.
The ranking is ultimately subjective, but the object of the exercise is to open new vistas for historical research and investigation to any who might not be closely familiar with names on the list, and to this end, I have decided to post a link here.
I would also appreciate feedback and discussion and of course corrections in the event that anyone included on the list is, unbeknown to me, still in fact living. I must apologise especially for my mistake regarding Wolfgang D?bereiner, who was evidently still alive at the time when I first published this in February, although now sadly he is no longer with us.
