The thema mundi normally appears with 15 cancer rising
Moderator note: As the poster is new here and I believe English is not his/her first language I am taking the unusual step of assisting here.
The poster is attracted to the ideas of the early 20th century astrologer Johannes Vehlow. He proposed a variant on the equal house system with the ASC in the centre not the beginning of the 1st house.
In his book Vehlow cites the Thema Mundi of ancient astrology as his source for his house system In particular Vehlow suggested the ASC was located at 15 Cancer in the Thema Mundi.
Are there any ancient sources actually supporting such a view of the Thema Mundi?
