A year ago today my friend and colleague astrologer David Roell died, suddenly, at his family home and business in Maryland. He was only 62-years-old.

Although his death was noted within our community, I never felt David received his proper due -- considering the many contributions he made to astrology. I've written a lengthy tribute

No one could inspire and infuriate me in quite the same way that Roell did -- driving me to the brink of revelation and furry simultaneously.

Although I never met him personally his death came as a little shock for me too. I did enjoy reading his reviews of books on his website and found them quite helpful.
