EXTREME ZODIAC SAMPLING
The idea for this topic came from Stefan on the Indian forum who described David Crochane's suggestion of "extreme sampling" as a way to explore both the tropical and sidereal zodiacs. This might be describing one or more people who have a stellium of planets in a sign or perhaps the professions, life patterns or interests of a number of people with similar planets in a sign.
This topic is placed on the sidereal forum, but "extreme sampling" posts are welcome in either zodiac. The subject is somewhat complicated as my observation has been that there is only one set of influences for each segment of the ecliptic (whether a single degree or decan or nakshatra, etc.) and only the name of the sign changes between zodiacs.
So the challenge is to show the symbolism (in either zodiac) that explains those influences. For example, why is a sign either tropical Aries or sidereal Pisces? Maybe extreme sampling using real people can help or at least promote discussion.
