here is a page from wikipedia on the cuban missile crisis. the chart for oct 16th has a mars-saturn opposition along the nodal axis..

below is the aries ingress chart for march 1962.. i happened to notice the relevance of the saturn/neptune square and of course cuba is another country - without looking at it's natal chart - which may also have this planetary pair more highlighted.. will go check campions book later.. regardless, it reminds me of this new rush to get the cold war going again on the world stage with the ongoing threat of nuclear war..
